Didi Zanguim Didi Zanguim 6'10" | PF Good Vision Academy | 2025 TX showed great strides when running the floor, consistently making himself available as a passing option by sprinting down the middle in transition. He also showed the ability to take the ball coast to coast after defensive stops, using his dribble to navigate through traffic. His soft touch around the rim, even through contact, allowed him to finish effectively, adding another layer to his transition game and proving to be a significant asset on both ends of the floor.

Didi Zanguim Didi Zanguim 6'10" | PF Good Vision Academy | 2025 TX showed his versatility on the defensive end the entire weekend. He impressed me with his ability to play defense in the interior blocking shots and out on the perimeter guarding multiple positions. Offensively, he runs the floor very well in transition for his size getting up the floor quickly for easy dunks. Most times he can make scoring look easy in the paint using his athletic ability and strength to create scoring opportunities for himself no matter the height of his matchup. 

I have gotten to watch Didi a few times over this summer and he has impressed each time he has stepped on the court. His footwork in the post is exceptional and his turnaround floater/layup is almost unblockable with his height. Zanguim can score off the pick and roll as the screener and shows ability to guard on the perimeter when switched onto the ballhandler. I believe he will showcase himself well this year with Good Vision Academy and make an immediate impact for his squad.

Zanguim shows the potential to significantly impact the game on the defensive end. Offensively, Didi loves to turn and finish over his left shoulder, showing a go-to left-to-right spin move which has been highly effective when creating his own shot, particularly in pick-and-roll situations or when operating out of the high post. Oftentimes his left-to-right spin is executed with precision and fluidity, making it difficult for defenders to anticipate or counter, also allowing him to exploit defensive switches or mismatches, quickly turning the corner and attacking the rim.

Didi proves to be exceptionally agile for his size, with a strong vertical leap and good reflexes. Zanguim’s hands and timing are precise, allowing him to catch and finish quickly, often overpowering defenders with his reach and strength. He’s a reliable target for teammates driving into the lane, contributing significantly to the interior scoring and maintaining a strong presence around the rim.
