Freshman Showcase: Guards/Wings Evaluations & Notes

He was laser-focused on D and brought a ton of energy. Handled point guard duties, offensively. He was one of the top hardest working prospects at the showcase. He flew around and closed out on the shooter every time. He uses a quick and explosive crossover series to get into the lane. He impacted games using his length to pull down rebounds for his team. He was a heavy lifter in the rebounding department on both ends. He's much more than a rebounder though. He was good in transition and getting in the middle and heart of the defense with the ball in his hands. I also think his passing is an underrated part of his game. Showed he can make skilled passes. A small guard with some offensive firepower, where he'll fire from deep range, pull up off the dribble, and accelerate through the lane off the drive. Can hit some impressive shots and makes surprising plays. Great quickness and will sprint the floor and plays fast in general. A certified shot-maker and bucket-getter. Brought defensive intensity and effort on the ball. Made playmaking plays on the ball, using quick and instinctive hands.
