Finishing the season with a perfect record is not out of the question if the Vikings stay healthy. Woehl has a great basketball mind, is old-school, is an intense coach, and he is a winner. Will Kindred take home the State Championship this year? </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Wahpeton</strong> -Coach Ralph is a veteran and one of the best in ND. The Huskies have a couple of athletic guards who should give opposing teams problems. However, I do not believe that have much size on the inside. Depth could also be an issue.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Valley City</strong> - The Hi-Liners lost a lot of talent to graduation, but Heck is back and will be one of the best in Class A. Mattson and Dockter will have the chance to prove themselves and Dieterle should be a force inside. I am intrigued to see how the "new-look" Hi-Liners perform this winter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Northern Cass</strong> - Husar and Reitschel will be a tough/productive 1-2 punch and coach Laxdal always runs good stuff/action. Depth and interior size will also be an issue for the Jags.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lisbon</strong> - Cordero and Bittner will make a high NRG and athletic backcourt. Those two will hit plenty of 3's, play fast, and give opposing guards problems with their pesky D. Adair is another solid player. Size &amp; length could be a concern for the Broncos. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Central Cass</strong> - The top upperclassmen will be Runck, Peterson, and Cruchet. Holland and Lorenz are the young guns to keep eyes on. Norman knows what it takes to get to State and win close games. Will they compete with the top teams in the Region? It will be interesting to see how it all comes together for the Squirrels.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Oak Grove</strong> - They are young but have a couple of up-and-coming ballers with Zabel and Meidinger. Card is a long-time coach with many wins on his resume, he certainly has a strong passion for the game.
