WHY?
Hit 68 triples this HS season & shot 35 3FG%, legit shooter
Quick trigger, I like his pull-up game, interested if he can get to the rack
Does he get loose & get hot from 3pt land?

13.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.1 apg, 38 FG%, drained 68 triples at 35 3FG%, talented shooter who spaces & spreads the floor, moves well without the rock, lets it fly with confidence, does not need much room to get his shot off, 3-level producer, smooth middy game, executes sets, opportunistic in transition

Rietschel has led the Jags in scoring multiple times early this season. He is shooting a 44% from the field. Hudson has the ability to score from all three levels. His pull-up jumper has looked impressive this season. Rietschel’s middy-J is smoother than a bowl of soft-serve ice cream! Hudson plays with great pace, which allows him an extra second to get his shot off. I have always been impressed with his outside shooting. Rietschel will likely be an All-Region 1 player this year.

He is returning from an injury but will be back to full strength soon, looking like he is ready to be the guy for the Jags this coming season, hits 3’s at an impressive rate & coach Laxdal knows how to get him open, improved his attacking, drawing more fouls, growing into his body, gets into the right spot on D, rebounds well for a G

At these events, I pay almost zero attention to the score of the game because I’m so locked-in on individual performances, approaches, and demeanors. But if I do remember right, Hudson’s team scored in the 90+ points in one of the games. He was a major part of that, and he’s a big-time playmaker and threat. But he does it in a simple and easy manner. Love his game.
