The annual CBG Fall Series took place again this past weekend at the beautiful Henrico Sports and Events Center, with 4 courts featuring over 40 teams from VA, NC, WV, DC and MD. There were hundreds of future college prospects in attendance, along with over double digit collegiate coaches and multiple national scouts in attendance.

In order to give a thorough breakdown of the many standouts from the event, I will be rolling out standouts all weeks in the different classes. Here's part three of five for some of the many senior standouts from VA teams in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494109' first='Ashton' last='Walker'] | 6'4” PG | Catholic

The Radford commit will look to go out with a bang his senior season and he's got the team to do it, as he was the floor general for a Crusaders team that not only beat but dominated some of the best teams in the event on Sunday. The 6'4” lead guard used his size to his advantage getting to spots in the midrange and rising over to make tough shots, he finished well around the rim, he made great reads and made plays for others and he was stout setting the tone on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494104' first='Martez' last='Harris'] | 6'8” C | Catholic

Harris comes back to the 757 after spending last season at Oak Hill, and he had a very good debut with Catholic showing his versatility and producing in a number of different ways. The 6'8” big man used his strength well in the paint to clear out space to finish, he rebounded well on both ends of the floor, he showed good ball skills with the ability to attack off the bounce and he scored it well in the midrange too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242382' first='Alex' last='McFarlane'] | 6'5” WG | Hayfield

McFarlane had a good junior season as one of Hayfield's go-to players with their new look roster, and with a year of experience in that role plus a very good summer, he's poised to be one of the top players in NOVA public school ball next year. He's an underrated available prospect as he has great size for his position, he shot the ball well from deep off the catch and on the move, he showed the ability to get downhill and finish through traffic and he made plays on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598943' first='Parker' last='Cage'] | 6'1” PG | Hayfield

Cage is another senior leader for this Hawks group that had a good season last year and looks to build on it, as he'll be a huge part of their team as he's one of their primary ball handlers and one of their top shooters as well. Cage is a strong and quick guard who used his burst to get by defenders and touch the paint, he made shots from well beyond the three-point line with relative ease, he made good decisions and he was very good guarding the ball too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494112' first='Troy' last='Henderson'] | 6'1” PG | John Marshall

The reigning two time Class 1 Player of the Year and Fordham commit transfers to John Marshall this year and gives the already loaded Justices another threat in the backcourt, and he was doing whatever he wanted throughout the event. He's a shifty and slippery guard who touched the paint and created space at will, he made shots from multiple levels off the bounce and he made his teammates better with his playmaking ability too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494108' first='Aiden' last='Argabright'] | 6'0” PG | John Marshall

Argabright was a huge part of JM's run to yet another state championship last year, and the Richmond commit was cooking with grease at the Fall Series lighting it up in a lot of different ways. He shot the ball extremely well from deep when he was off the ball and Henderson was handling it, he moved on the ball and showed his ability to break down defenders in isolation situations and he showed great instincts on the defensive end jumping passing lanes and hounding ball handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956062' first='Desmon' last='Rose'] | 6'6” WF | John Marshall

Rose is one of the best available seniors in the Richmond area, and he's shown much improvement over the past few years which he displayed by making an impact in a lot of different ways at the Fall Series. The 6'6” wing showed his big time athleticism by finishing above the rim consistently and with ease, he showed good ball skills as he handled and created shots off the bounce, he was dynamic in transition and he showed his ability to knock down shots from deep as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242389' first='Will' last='Hopkins'] | 6'2” WG | John Marshall

Hopkins is another new addition tot his JM team transferring in from Hanover, and he made a big impact with his versatility as a two guard who can do a little bit of everything for his team. He was great as a secondary ball handler with his ability to get downhill and put pressure on the defense, he made shots from multiple levels when he was left open, he finished well around the rim and through traffic and he was very good on the defensive end as well.
