The Comets finished this past season 19-9 before falling in the second round of the state playoffs. Banks will hope to inject his skills at the guard position after posting 22.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.5 assists per game at Hickory Grove Christian in 2023-24. He's a 6-foot-4 forward prospect who put up 11 double-doubles in 2023-24 as a sophomore and averaged 6.6 blocks per game. His athleticism and strength in the paint make him a prospect for DII and DIII programs in the region to see. He put up 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this past season for Northside Christian Academy on the NCISAA stage as a reserve. He's developed this spring/summer on improving his body and his overall game and has some buzz surrounding him. He's a sizeable big man who put up 6.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game this past season at Tuscola High. He's an athletic 6-foot-4 guard who's shown he can attack with patience and pace while keeping others around him involved in the action. He posted 26.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game this past season at East Rutherford on the NCHSAA stage.
