Gage can get the ball to the cup when needed. At times he needs to keep things simple instead of trying to do too much. The athletic Dicks really likes to get out in transition and play in an up-tempo style of play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dicks averaged 18.6 ppg and 7.4 rebounds last season for the Warriors (18-17). He seems to play his best basketball the ball at the shooting guard position. He can dial it up quickly at times from long range when he gets hot. Shawn has a good frame and body control to the bucket. He will fend off defenders and get to the foul line. Nigel will bring some toughness to the backcourt for Head Coach Philip Deter this season. Chivers certainly has no problems sacrificing his body when it comes to taking a charge, jumping on the deck or picking up a rebound from his guard spot. Nigel is a GAMER on the floor and a vocal leader to boot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chivers averaged 14.5 ppg last season for the Demons at Lugoff-Elgin HS. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nigel brings a competitive edge to the floor at all times. He likes to play out on the wing and set up shop at times. Hugh must get stronger for the next level. Humphries can knockdown the 3-pointer and really likes to play from the 15-17-feet range on the floor. He's back for the Generals with [player_tooltip player_id='1669880' first='Bryce' last='Ward'] in the backcourt. AJ averaged 21.4 ppg last season for the Generals (26-9). When he has a chance to set his feet and get a clean look at the bucket watch out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1559447' first='Hilton' last='Dessausure']</strong> - Northside Chrstian (Lexington)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The left-handed Dessausure had a good spring and summer on the Grassroots Circuit and with the Crusaders. Hilton can knockdown shots from the perimeter or simply attack the rack. He has a quick first step to attack the baseline at times. Hilton averaged 13.1 ppg last season in his first year in a Crusaders uniform. He has soft hands and a soft touch. I would really like to see him take off this season with his production and potential down the road. He keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.
