The 2025 rankings update is here with nearly 260 players taking part of the update. The point guard group has the most players ranked of any in the new update with 65 players ranked. Here are the top point guards from the 2025 rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578536' first='Jaysean' last='Williams'], 6'0 Patrick School

Williams is the top-ranked point guard in the update and has the potential to have a big 2024-25 season. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Williams has a nice touch on his floater and sets his feet before he shoots. He pushes the pace well in transition and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Williams is a speedy, lead guard prospect whose ability to make plays with the ball in his hands makes him a prospect to watch this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411630' first='AJ' last='Altobelli'], 5'11 Union Catholic

Altobelli has been a huge part of the Vikings' success over the past two seasons and should carry it over into his senior season. The 5'11 guard plays with poise on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and can thread passes to open teammates in the halfcourt. Altobelli finishes nicely around the basket and can make opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He is an underrated rebounder and plays with good anticipation on the defensive hand to generate turnovers. Altobelli is a floor general whose ability to run the offense effectively will help his stock throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504919' first='Jeremiah' last='Webb'], 5'11 Patrick School

Webb transferred into the Garden State form New York and is looking to make an impact on the floor right away. The 5'11 guard has a good first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Webb is more than just a slasher as he can also score in the mid-range and wastes little motion in his release. He has the ability to play off the ball as well and slides his feet on the defensive end. Webb's ability to play on and off the ball is something that will help his development throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411627' first='Jamir' last='McNeil'], 6'0 Middle Township

McNeil is the Panthers' top returning scorer and should eclipse his scoring output this season. The 6'0 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the basket and can hit shots through contact. McNeil finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. McNeil is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to make plays at both ends of the floor will help his stock over the next couple of months.

Dwayne "DJay" Snead Jr, 6'1 Pennington

Snead Jr has the ability to play on and off the ball, which he should put on display this season. The 6'1 lefty uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and finishes nicely around the rim. Snead Jr has a good release on his jumper and plays unselfish with the ball in his hands. He has the length to defend both backcourt spots and moves well without the ball in his hands. Snead Jr is a lanky guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor this season.
