2024 PH Oregon Sophomore ID Camp - Top Performers Second Team

The first-ever Prep Hoops Oregon Sohopmore ID Camp took place at the end of last month. The camp brought in some of the brightest shining prospects in Oregon's 2027 class to compete and get evaluated. Of those players, we narrowed it down to ten guys for our All-Camp Teams who stood out above the rest with their play. Here is the second team from the camp. Worked around the paint exceptionally well, both scoring with midrange to short-range jumpers and finding space with the dribble to get angles and attack guys to the hoop. Has the versatility to fill several roles, working well in the pick and roll as both ballhandler and picker, guarding multiple positions, and showcasing some playmaking from the perimeter and the interior. He's a pretty creative player with the rock.     Played with great speed with the ball and showed off a smooth handle with good change of speeds. He was pretty crafty getting to the hoop and creating space along the perimeter with dribble moves and ball fakes. Had good awareness after getting separation to either finish himself or recognize open passing lanes. Also made plays on the defensive end showing good hands and timing for tips and strips. Constantly pushed the pace in transition and ran the break really well.     He was extremely active across the board, fighting on the glass, getting up and down the court in transition, and showing some ability to play both inside and out. Had a few moments with good footwork outside to create separation and stay on balance but was also a tough kid by the rim to work for extra shots and play among bodies.     He's a pretty skilled taller kid who moved well at 6'6, both to find space off the ball, attack some gaps off the bounce, and defend away from the hoop. Looked good from 3-point too, made some nice passes in traffic, and showed the ability to grab a board and push the ball down the floor. He's a promising prospect who was able to play from different spots and exploit matchups.     He's an explosive player who was able to play downhill quite a bit and was too much for defenders with his smooth transitions from hesitations outside into his burst down driving lanes. Also showed off a nice looking stroke from 3-point and has the look of a natural scorer. Good athlete who got up for big finishes at the rim and was able to beat a lot of guys down the floor in transition. Looked good driving to either side and had a very smooth offensive game.
