I finally got to watch the UAA Circuit. My last circuit that I didn't cover yet. They were playing July 11-14 in Atlanta and in Chicago July 19-21. I took in multiple games of each team and here were some of the standouts.

We move over to the rising senior guard standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1274847' first='Adam' last='Hubbard'] AZ Compass Prep Black (NBBA)

A long and lean combo guard can score from all levels. He can hit the three off the catch or pull-up from mid-range off the dribble. He can race down the court and score in traffic with and-1's. He takes long strides and scores it well in transition. He can create his own shot off of a crossover and float it in. His best skill is still his deep three point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198882' first='Kam' last='Robinson'] AZ Compass Prep Black (NBBA)

A quick scoring point guard with some length. He has a quick first step to get downhill to the basket. He can score with either hand in traffic and gets himself to the free throw line. He uses the pick and roll game to his advantage and will burst down the lane. He has a tight handle and his speed allows him to get to the rim quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369213' first='Amare' last='King'] Casteel ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'])

A versatile Swiss Army Knife. He is a multiple positional defender with covering PGs and bigger forwards. He is becoming a top notch rebounder and makes reads like a lead guard would. His mid-range pull-up is his sweet spot and he rises up higher then most people jump. He made some clutch shots to advance to the Final-4 and did what he needed to do each game on defense and offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='996176' first='Bryce' last='Quinet'] Notre Dame Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select']) (Pictured)

The tough and cerebral point guard scores with catch threes, floaters, runners and tough drives. He changes speeds well to get the defender off balanced and plays off of two-feet waiting for the defender to react and he then makes his move. He has strong hands to collect steals and is a true leader. He recently announced his Final-5 schools on social media.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286023' first='Ryan' last='Burbach'] Brophy Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'])

A scoring guard is one of the best catch three point shooters in the AIA. He hit some clutch shots in OT to advance to the Elite-8 and made multiple tough shots in the UAA Finals from the three. He can give a hard ball fake and pull-up from mid-range or get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135514' first='Treyvion' last='Curry'] Phhoenix Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'])

A hyper athletic, super twitchy combo guard. He scores with speed euros, floaters, runners, threes and rises up over the shot blockers, making him tough to defend. He is an out of area rebounder and is a next level on-ball defender with a motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217316' first='Gerron' last='Graham Jr'] Premier Prep Tucson ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'])

‘GJ' is a physical PG. The Tucson product showed what he can do the last two weekends on the circuit. The first thing that stands out is his on-ball defense and physical play. He scores with the floater game, catch threes, downhill physical drives and he will facilitate. He understands how to changes speeds well to get to his spots, he makes good reads and his on-ball defense was on point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285934' first='Zaire' last='Richardson'] San Tan Charter ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite UAA Rise'])

The true PG of the team is Richardson. He is improving by the month it seems. He will take the ball off the glass and finds a teammate in stride with next level court vision. He is good off the pick and roll game to find a teammate or get downhill to score with patience. He can hit the three off the catch or get by his initial defender with his tight handle and burst with either hand. His change of directions and speeds is impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275632' first='Lex' last='Clontz'] Cesar Chavez ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite UAA Rise'])

One of the quickest releases in the AIA showed it in the live period. The ball comes off his hands quickly and he moves without the ball for layups. He is best off the catch but he can pull-up off the dribble from the three. He rebounds well and will take a charge with a cerebral approach to the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1193887' first='Rhys' last='Walcott'] Eastmark ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite UAA Rise'])

A scoring combo guard plays on or off the ball. He can score with perimeter jumpers from mid to the three plus inside the paint. He has nice foot post footwork to score and his mid-range pull-up is his sweet spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1469397' first='Kylen' last='Bonner'] San Tan Charter ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite UAA Rise'])

A long and lean scoring guard. He runs the floor in transition for layups, scores on cuts to the basket, uses floaters and makes perimeter jumpers with threes off the catch with a quicker trigger. He uses his length in the passing lanes on defense and he is a smart passer.
