Rankings Update 2025: Risers 50 to 75

PH NorCal has updated the Class of 2025 rankings. Here's a group thats played their way up into the top 75 during the high school, Spring and Summer with their AAU squads.    He's a solid body around 6'4, he moves well on the court working mostly right out side the post areas and in to the bucket. He can hit the short jumper from the high post, and the short corners. He'll use a dribble or two to get closer. He plays well off two feet, gathering himself, and taking it up strong for his paint points. He's a good passer, sets solid screens, he'll roll to the basket. He's a rebounder, and has the strength to defend in the post. (120 to 51)     He's an experienced guard that just gets it done, starting or coming off the bench. He's an aggressive guard that uses the hard dribble, and quickness to attack the basket from different areas. He can handle contact, he puts it high off the glass against taller defenders, he has a paint jumper and a floater. A steady contributor (77 to 62)     He's a quality shooting guard that brings a good level of consistency to his team. He's one of the better prospects in the small school divisions in NorCal. He has a clean jump shot he can hit using a dribble to hit the mid-range shots. He uses screens, curls, and squares up nice for 3's in different spots. He can get to the paint with his dribble. He's a good defender and helps rebounds. (75 to 64)     Roche made a nice jump in the rankings (197 to 65) because of his breakout Spring and Summer against quality competition. He was aggressive manning the middle, willing to mix it up inside on both ends of the court. He was forceful defending and going after blocks inside. He used power moves, and good hops scoring inside. We saw him step out on occasion to hit 3's from the top and corners.     He's been playing well for a while now dating back to the high school play-offs last season. He had a good Spring and Summer playing against quality competition. He has a good skill set, plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He can stick short jump shots and has the range to drop 3's. He can get points in the paint. He'll battle for rebounds. (144 to 66)     Rease seems primed and ready for a breakout his Senior season at the Ranch. He's playing with confidence, handling, passing more. He's using his lengthy arms and crossover dribbles to get into the paint where he has a knack for drawing fouls, he's making his free throws. He's defending better staying locked in full court and helping out. He takes charges. With a good look he'll drop a 3ptr. (85 to 67)     Coming into his Senior season Davis has fine tuned his guard skills. He's taking and making good shots. He's been decisive and aggressive using his dribble drive pull-up jump shot. He works the baseline and other angles pulling up for short jumpers, or taking straight to the bucket for points. His defense is trending up. (92 to 69)    Venture Academy.    He's a transfer from Edison, Stockton to Venture Academy in Stockton. He's a long rangy type prospect with a versatile skill set. He can play multiple positions, with a good chance to be productive from different areas on the court. We've seen him handle and pass from the top, work from the sides getting closer for paint jumpers, he has 3pt range. Consistency will be key for him. (97 to 70)
