There's always a need for big men at all levels in college, so today we're going to take a look at just a few of the top scoring big men in the Richmond area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451923' first='Quentin' last='Morgan'] | 6'9” | Deep Run '25

Morgan was one of the most improved players over the past year or so, and while his continued upside is what is getting him recruited his improvement in production is a big reason to think he's only scratching the surface with how good he can be. At 6'9” he runs the floor hard and is an athletic finisher when he gets out in transition, he can use his size and strength to hit the offensive glass and finish through contact and he gets to the line where he converts at a good percentage too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956077' first='Jordan' last='Jackson'] | 6'7” | Highland Springs '25

Jackson has been a part of Highland Springs success over the past three years or so, and is a relatively tough matchup for most teams with his blend of skill and athleticism. He can stretch the floor both from deep and at the elbows off the catch, he can run the floor and finishes well above the rim and he gets a lot of tip ins and finishes on the offensive glass too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451966' first='Cole' last='Hoffman'] | 6'8” | Manchester '25

Hoffman had a big summer where he just kept getting better and better for Team Richmond, and he looks like he'll be one of the top big men in the Richmond area this year at Manchester. He's got an old school game where he seals well and you can throw it to him on the block, he has good moves and counters in the paint, he can finish with either hand and he has good touch stepping out to the elbows too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782682' first='Latrell' last='Allmond'] | 6'8” | John Marshall '26

Allmond is one of the top big men in the country in his class and one of the most underrated nationally in the class, as he's shown time and time again that even against older players he's a man amongst boys and is absolutely dominant when he's on the floor. He's a strong and athletic player in the post who can overpower defenders and play above the rim, he has improved in his ability to step out and make shots, he hits the offensive glass with aggression and he always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459212' first='Jamese' last='Jordan'] | 6'9” | Hopewell '26

Jordan is a high upside big who should see a lot of college attention moving forward, as he's an absolute unit in the post and knows how to use his size to score the ball in a number of different ways. The 6'9” big man takes up a ton of space and is able to clear out space in the paint, he finishes well with both hands around the rim, he's surprisingly quick and explosive for his size and he has good touch away from the rim too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963396' first='Travis' last='Holloman'] | 6'7” PF | LCA '26

Holloman is one of the more underrated players in the RVA area, having led LCA to a couple of deep playoff runs over the past few years and showcasing an intriguing skill set as well. At 6'7” he's a big body in the paint who can finish around the rim, he has good footwork and good touch with both hands, he rebounds and runs the floor well and he has good touch out to the elbows as well.

There's always a need for big men at all levels in college, so today we're going to take a look at just a few of the top scoring big men in the Richmond area.
