[player_tooltip player_id='2531961' first='Amarion' last='Smith-Holley'] Peoria Richwoods 5'11

Amarion was the most dynamic lead guard I watched at the Freshman Camp. He's quick with tight handles that can get to any spot on the court. What I was amazed at with Smith-Holley was how relentless he was. No matter who switched on him he attacked with a purpose. I was also pleased to see him not hoist a ton of shots from three just because it was open. I expect him to be next in line of high profile players coming from Peoria.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532006' first='Kaiden' last='Brown'] Plainfield South 5'11

Lefty guard who has good length for his size. He showed excellent feel with the ball. He felt comfortable pushing the ball on fastbreaks and looking for guys to make assists. Has some potential to become a player.

Brendan Lynn Harlem 5'11

Lynn is a dependable guard who puts his head down and attacks the paint. He didn't have a ton of touches but made his presence felt on the court. His lefty drive to a right-hand finish over the smaller guard showed he wasn't afraid of contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532032' first='Salahuddin' last='Ahmed'] Mcc Academy 6'0

Ahmed had to play big man on a team with much smaller players. He didn't shy away from the task doing very well on the glass. Salahuddin played hard on each possession and moved well off the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531969' first='Ben' last='Nemrava'] Downers Grove South 5'4

A smaller guard who competes hard on both sides of the ball. Made some hustle plays and dove for a loose ball. Ben is a sneaky guard who gets steals when you are not paying attention. Would like him to be more assertive as a scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532705' first='Caleb' last='Barnes'] Metea Valley 5'9

Barnes had a heck of a day getting to the rim with strong drives and finishing off two feet. He scored most of his points around the basket. Didn't see him take many shots except a mid-range jumper that he nailed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2369922' first='Jayden' last='Dozie'] Maine East 5'9

Dozie is a slick guard who is crafty around the rim. He's able to attack using either hand to finish layups. An underrated part of Jayden's game is his passing ability. He was able to make reads on the fly and put some touch on his passes. He's a high school-ready lead guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2499985' first='Emil' last='Bugaian'] Maine East 5'11

Emil was able to be a spark in the second half of the game hitting a three for one session and then scoring two layups when while cutting to the basket and the other by going Coast to coast for a sweeping right shot. He remained competitive despite his team being down double digits.
