Division 6A in Texas in stacked with talented teams and players. There's multiple teams that have aspirations of making a deep run in the state tournament. With their being endless talent and tough competition in 6A, these are the teams that stand a good chance at making a deep run.

Bellaire:

Bellaire made some noise last season going 30-7 and look to make more noise this time around. A big reason Bellaire is expecting a huge season is due to 4 star guard/forward [player_tooltip player_id='1225694' first='Shelton' last='Henderson']. Standing at 6'6, Henderson has many attributes to his game that can lead a team to win games. Henderson will also have help having some quality teammates. LJ Andrews is another player that's expecting to help Bellaire make a run. A big that has good footwork and makes his presence known in the paint. Bellaire has good pieces needed to have a successful season.

Other key players: CJ Williams, [player_tooltip player_id='2357321' first='BJ' last='Gill'], [player_tooltip player_id='1514254' first='Kohlman' last='Dutton']

Lewisville:

With multiple talented players, Lewisville has a deep roster that has all the tools to have a great season. Trace Clark, Brayden Jones, and [player_tooltip player_id='1583464' first='Te'Zhan' last='Francois'] are all key pieces with unique sets of skill to help Lewisville be a contender for state. Lewisville also has AJ Mcpeters, a sharpshooter who can be considered one of the best shooters in Texas this upcoming season. A good balance of different playing styles that should elevate Lewisville this season.

Other key players: Max Hindman, [player_tooltip player_id='2436966' first='Nehemiah' last='Davis'], [player_tooltip player_id='2382175' first='Xavier' last=''] Young

Frenship:

Returning majority of their players from last season's 28-6 team, Frenship has their eyes set on a state championship. Frenship has good size throughout the team and an elite 4 star player in [player_tooltip player_id='2028630' first='Patton' last='Pinkins']. Pinkins has an advanced skillset and can do everything on the floor for Frenship. 6'5 Pinkins, 6'7 [player_tooltip player_id='2391202' first='KeAnthonie' last='Neloms'], and 6'6 Daniel Gedeon will be a problem for opposing players due to their height and length. KeAnthonie and Daniel will bring an inside presence to the team with both having good touch around the rim. Frenship has a complete team and will look to have an even more impressive season this year.

Other key players: [player_tooltip player_id='1592976' first='Chase' last='Campbell'], [player_tooltip player_id='1295837' first='Javyn' last='Davis']

Brennan:

[player_tooltip player_id='2382174' first='Brennan' last=''] is another team with a loaded roster that has good size with a star player. Star player [player_tooltip player_id='1358188' first='Kingston' last='Flemings'] could easily be seen as the best player in Texas. A tough scoring guard with multiple high division 1 offers, Kingston is the ideal player to lead a team. [player_tooltip player_id='1593892' first='Donovan' last='Criss'] is another player with multiple division 1 offers on the team. Donovan has pure jumper, doesn't force plays to happen, and plays at his pace. Big man [player_tooltip player_id='2461693' first='Delano' last='Tarpley'] stands at 6'10 and knows how to properly use his size to his advantage. Those three players will certainly have a big impact with [player_tooltip player_id='2382174' first='Brennan' last=''] along with the other key players among the team.

Other key players: [player_tooltip player_id='1560885' first='Isaiah' last='Ward'], [player_tooltip player_id='1358187' first='Camden' last='Cowgill'], [player_tooltip player_id='1593893' first='Talon' last='Todd'], [player_tooltip player_id='2251035' first='Amoni' last='Francis'], Tre Keene

Allen:

Allen is seen by many as a favorite to win a state championship. They have a well balanced and talented group of players with good chemistry. They're returning multiple of their top players off last season's 32-6 team. [player_tooltip player_id='2273241' first='Deandre' last='Thomas'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1358646' first='Trenton' last='Pane'] showed a lot of their elite abilities last season and during the summer. Both are good defenders and are athletic players. Pane does a lot of damage driving to the basket and with his jumper. Thomas can shoot the three well and has a good handle for his size. [player_tooltip player_id='2233725' first='Isaiah' last='Dozier'] is another athletic player that has good size standing at 6'7. Allen has good defenders all across their team will be one of the best defensive teams in Texas.

Other key players: [player_tooltip player_id='2355323' first='Khalil' last='Walker'], [player_tooltip player_id='1593935' first='Nehemiah' last='Lawrence'], [player_tooltip player_id='1225435' first='Nnamdi' last='Ubawike'], [player_tooltip player_id='2355321' first='Antonio' last='Shannon'], [player_tooltip player_id='2355319' first='Antoine' last='Shannon']

Duncanville:

Duncanville has been a powerhouse over the last few years under the leadership of Coach David Peavy. Last season, they posted a 19-10 record while playing a challenging national schedule with a younger roster. Returning many of their key contributors from last season, Duncanville is poised to reclaim their status as the top team in Texas. [player_tooltip player_id='1222243' first='Kayden' last='Edwards'], an elite 4-star player with multiple high Division 1 offers, is a sharpshooter who can score with ease. Point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2112009' first='Beckham' last='Black'] is a smart, crafty player who excels at getting his teammates involved and can score when needed. After a strong freshman year, Beckham is looking to elevate his game even further.

Other key players: Christopher Hunt Jr, [player_tooltip player_id='1654169' first='Cameron' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='2453368' first='Jirehn' last='Mitchell'], Gary Jones

Atascocita:

Having a dynamic duo is always a good thing for a team to have and that's the case for Atascocita. [player_tooltip player_id='1778906' first='Adam' last='Boyd'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2458771' first='Jaylen' last='Fenner'] are both high level players that have the tools to lead this team. [player_tooltip player_id='1778906' first='Adam' last='Boyd'] in a shifty guard who makes the right reads on the court. He'll pass to the right guy and doesn't waste dribbles and time when it comes time to score. Jaylen is a strong and athletic forward with a great transition game. To complement them is 6'6 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1778917' first='Zayson' last='Salanoa'] who's a knock down shooter. Atascocita had a strong season last year and will look to learn from last season to take that next step.

Other key Players: Johnathan Kekeocha, [player_tooltip player_id='1778907' first='Carson' last='Countryman']

Division 6A in Texas in stacked with talented teams and players. There's multiple teams that have aspirations of making a deep run in the state tournament. With their being endless talent and tough competition in 6A, these are the teams that stand a good chance at making a deep run.
