Barrantes (pictured) is also the leading returning scorer in the class, coming off a junior year in which he put up 27.4 points a game. At 6-10 and with plus-athleticism, he's nearly impossible to slow down at this level of high school ball in Iowa.

2.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1951832' first='Cael' last='Reichter'] (North Fayette Valley) -- 13.6

An athletic 6-7 forward with bounce and great hands, Reichter does a great job on the glass on both ends of the floor, averaging 4.4 offensive rebounds a game, which certainly helped contribute to his lofty scoring output last season.

3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765513' first='Ryan' last='Clair'] (Kuemper Catholic) -- 10.7*

Another really athletic forward who does a great job rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor, Clair averaged 4.3 offensive boards a game at East Sac County as a sophomore. He has great hands and plays with a non-stop motor on both ends of the floor.

4.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2511586' first='Hayden' last='Utt'] (Davis County) -- 10.1

Utt is a strong, 6-4 big man who does a great job utilizing his big frame to grab control of space in the paint to pull down rebounds on both ends of the floor. He averaged over three offensive rebounds a game last season for the Mustangs.

5.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2398026' first='Conall' last='Sauser'] (Oelwein) -- 10.0

A bouncy, efficient 6-3/6-4 forward, Sauser was a bright spot for the Huskies as a junior, averaging a double-double by putting up 14.3 points a game, buoyed by his nearly four offensive rebounds a night.

6.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2398114' first='Logan' last='Moline'] (Manson-Northwest Webster) -- 9.2

Moline enjoyed a breakout junior year in which he ranked among the state leaders in scoring, and some of his scoring output can certainly be attributed to his work on the glass, pulling down 3.0 offensive rebounds a game as a junior. He's also a good enough ball-handler to lead the break and go coast-to-coast after pulling down a defensive board.

t7.) 2027 Jaxx Dejean (OABCIG) -- 9.1

The next Dejean boy to come through Ida Grove, Jaxx is, like older brother Cooper, a great athlete who uses his athleticism to compete on the glass. Listed at 6-4 as a freshman, he's already taller than the Philadelphia Eagles rookie, and has a promising future both on the gridiron and the hardwood.

t7.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2287857' first='Brayden' last='Hoben'] (Grand View Christian) -- 9.1

Another Thunder returnee on this top 10 rebounders list, Hoben was really good as a sophomore, averaging 15.9 points to go with his prowess on the glass. He's an athletic 6-5 wing who can do a little bit of everything for GVC - stretching the floor, creating out of the high post, and pounding the glass on both ends.

9.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1759904' first='Dylan' last='Stecker'] (Spirit Lake) -- 9.0

Stecker was also on the top 10 returning scorers list after averaging 23.5 points a game last season, partially because of his work on the offensive glass last season. An athletic forward who is a good enough ball-handler to lead the break, Stecker looks like he's primed to have a sensational senior year for a Spirit Lake team that could be among the most improved in 2A.

10.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2511486' first='Traven' last='Wheeler'] (South Hardin) -- 8.8
