Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Reichter closed out his ridiculously productive career with another huge game, scoring 35 points on 13-21 shooting and grabbing 19 rebounds. At 6-8, he has great mobility, rotates well defensively and blocks shots at a high rate, and he is tremendous as a rebounder on both ends of the floor. He plays with physicality, has a great second and third jump that he uses to tap the ball a few times before being able to finally corral it, and great hands. Having grown up as a point guard before going through a growth spurt, he handles it really, really well for a 6-8 big man, and that allows him to initiate the offense and play downhill off the dribble when he isn’t posting up defenders.

Reichter is tucked away, hidden up in the northeast part of the state, but he’s one of the most dominant two-way players in 2A basketball. A legit 6-8 forward with the mobility and athleticism to be a switchable defender, he’s a dominant rim protector, elite rebounder, a versatile scorer who can dominate on the block or step out and knock down jumpers. He averaged 22.1 points, 13.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.0 blocks a game on 55.6% shooting.

Few players in the state make the two-way impact that Reichter does for North Fayette Valley, averaging 22.1 points, 13.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game last season. An athletic, versatile 6-7 forward who can score inside and out as well as create quality looks for his teammates out of the high post or off the dribble, he’s also a switchable defender who moves his feet well and has great timing as a shot blocker.
