At 6-foot-1 and with a strong physique, Rivera has solid physical tools for a 2026 guard. He can shoot it from the outside and also displayed some good finishing moves at the rim. He also has a keen sense for when to make the kick out and kick ahead passes – he's an unselfish player. He'll need to get a bit quicker and become a better ball handler if he wants to play at the mid or high D3 level, but he's got a couple of years to make that happen.

Karthik traveled all the way from Austin, TX to attend Babson and Brandeis' camps this weekend, and he played well. He's definitely undersized and underdeveloped for the guard position, but he has a great skillset; he can shoot it, drive it and pass it. His best skill is his drive and kick ability and decision making, both of which allow him to play with a variety of other types of players. He'll need to get stronger if he wants to play at the low or mid D3 level, but that's definitely possible given how he looks.

Taylor has only been playing competitive basketball for two years, and you can tell. He's incredibly raw and doesn't have too many ball skills. However, he runs up and down the floor like a gazelle and has excellent physical tools; he's 6-foot-6 with length, good jumping ability and a solid motor. He'll need to get a lot better in order to play D3 ball, but he's at the perfect place to do so – The Newman School. I would imagine Taylor will make massive improvements this season and look like a different player in a year. Keep an eye on him.

Shackell was one of the best shooters – if not the best shooter – at Brandeis' camp today. He's got a lightning quick release and range out far past the three point line. He's also a smart and willing passer who can get into the lane and play well as part of an offense. He's gotta put on some more weight if he wants to play mid or high level D3 ball (as is the case for many guys here), but the skillset is definitely there.

Downey-Lamprey has the size and body type of a high D3 forward – he's tall and very built – but his offensive skills are still coming along. He has a decent shot but is inconsistent from three, and his handle is hit or miss. He's most effective as an offensive rebounder and versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. If he can put it all together, he has high D3 potential.
