[player_tooltip player_id='1766178' first='Jeremiah' last='Brooks'], a Senior from Greenwood High School and [program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] begins my second Film Review List. He is a quick and twitchy Guard who also has the athleticism to get on the rim in the open floor. He is pretty effective at scoring in the paint or behind the perimeter, although the latter is something I have seen with a greater sample size in person. Brooks has a nasty crossover and is a creative finisher around the rim too. Even though he is a true score-first guard, Jeremiah makes good reads and is dominant in the pick-and-roll, keeping defenders uncomfortable with his ability to find a roller or pull-up for a shot.

RJ submitted highlights from his Junior Year at South Pointe where he was productive on the court and off with a 3.7 GPA. I was really impressed with the balance shown in his film: playing on and off the ball, showing deep range, great vision, and even an inverted screen action. There wasn't much evidence of Pickering finishing around the rim, as most of his scoring came from the perimeter and the mid-range. He also seems to be a smart defender, as there were multiple plays where he cut off a ball-handler and drew a charge as the primary defender.

For Hilton, I got to look at his film from the Phenom Hoops Team Camp during the June Scholastic Period. It started strong with a transition dunk and a pull-up three on back-to-back possessions, followed by lots of different scoring looks. He is a pretty strong left-handed Combo Guard who also is a confident perimeter shooter. Dessausure can work from the post if he has a smaller guard on him, beat defenders off the dribble with his handle and quickness, or simply shoot it over the top of them. Hilton also had some impressive moments on the defensive end, particularly with some athletic blocks.

Brendan is a Stretch Big with height to be effective around the rim and a big frame. He showed good activity on the boards and vision to throw a few solid outlet passes or passes out of the post. McMahon has very soft hands and when he wasn't knocking down threes in his highlight reel, he was working for second-chance points or layups in the paint. Brendan did a very good job of working quickly not allowing defenders to rotate to him or defenses to collapse around him and using his size advantage to keep the ball above smaller players.

I wasn't super familiar with Crawley's game before watching his film, but he showed that he was a scrappy Guard with good scoring qualities. He is a good spot-up shooter who gets his feet set quickly and doesn't need lots of space to get off a good look. Braden also had some nice plays finishing both his right and left hand and could create for himself off the dribble.

Conner Wiley had one of the better defensive highlight tapes from this year's edition of the Prep Hoops SC Film Room. AC Flora played a lot of high-pressure defense, both with full-court looks and in the half-court. Conner was a major factor in their success because of his size on ball-handlers, ability to move his feet and keep players in front, strong hands, and shot-blocking. Wiley was not strictly a defender though, he also had some good-looking jump shots and creative finishes at the rim.
