(35) C [player_tooltip player_id='1884756' first='Tanner' last='Bergmann'] (Wapsie Valley)

Bergmann is the top ranked newcomer in the 2026 class. A skilled 6-8 big man who had a very productive sophomore year at Wapsie Valley in which he averaged 11.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game, Bergmann followed that up with a tremendous spring and summer with Drive Pro Select. He's great on the glass on both ends of the floor, is a mobile, switchable defender, good post moves and touch, and he can occasionally step out and stretch the floor. If he continues to grow, he's a high upside big man. If he's done growing, he has the looks of a player who could be a very, very productive Division II player.

(73) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2519987' first='Sadeek' last='Noah'] (Des Moines North)

I've heard some conflicting reports on where Noah will be playing as a junior (North or Roosevelt), but wherever he's at, he provides length and athleticism on the perimeter. He's a good defender who contests shots and moves his feet well. On the offensive end, he can play downhill and attack the rim off the dribble, covering a ton of ground with his long strides, and he's a capable shooter from 3-point range. He averaged 6.2 points and 1.9 rebounds a game as a sophomore at North.

(98) C [player_tooltip player_id='2484494' first='Max' last='Allison'] (Ankeny)

Allison is really, really raw, and needs to add a good amount of strength to his frame, but there is no teaching size, and he has legit size at 7-0. In addition to height, he's a fairly mobile young big man who can run the floor and protect the paint. There is a lot to work on, but there is also no denying the potential.

(122) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2519967' first='Finley' last='Newman'] (Roosevelt)

A long, rangy wing with a huge wingspan at 6-4, Newman shoots it at a high clip, especially off the catch. He gets his feet set well and has a quick, high release off the catch. He can provide some floor spacing next to the downhill-heavy guard play at Roosevelt.

(143) C [player_tooltip player_id='2519956' first='Sullivan' last='Hall'] (GTRA)

Similar to Allison, Hall is a massive young big man, listed at 6-10. He plays at a 1A school, so he had a chance to be pretty productive as a sophomore, averaging 12.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game. He's another raw big man, but he has great size and is a fairly mobile young big man.

(169) PF [player_tooltip player_id='2413508' first='Kinnick' last='Covington'] (Center Point-Urbana)

Covington, a 6-3/6-4 forward, was a solid role player as a sophomore for the Stormin' Pointers, averaging 6.3 points and 4.6 rebounds a game on 55.7% shooting. He has really good, soft hands, solid footwork, and good touch around the bucket.

(172) SF [player_tooltip player_id='1874773' first='Carson' last='Streeter'] (South Winneshiek)

A 6-2 wing, Streeter was extremely productive as a sophomore for the Warriors, averaging 15.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. He's at his best when he's using his strength and athleticism to play downhill and attack the rim off the dribble. He finishes well at the bucket and is also a skilled passer who sees the floor well.

(175) PF [player_tooltip player_id='2519965' first='Owen' last='Liechti'] (Centennial)

Liechti should be a key part of the Jaguars rotation as a junior, a big 6-6 forward with soft hands and impressive vision and passing skills out of the high post area. He's a solid team defender who rotates and contests shots at the rim.

(178) PF [player_tooltip player_id='2520020' first='Hayden' last='Dohlman'] (ADM)

Dohlman is a 6-5 forward who has a bit of a face-up game, knocking down 12-15 footers fairly regularly at the Winterset Shootout in June. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor and he can protect the paint a bit defensively. He figures to play a significant role for the Tigers as a junior.

(180) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2520031' first='Chris' last='Loggins'] (Sioux City East)

A 6-3 wing, Loggins came off the bench to provide a bit of a scoring spark for the Black Raiders as a sophomore, averaging 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds on 44-36-73 shooting splits. He's a long, athletic defender who can turn defense into offense in a hurry, and he should step into a much larger role as a junior for East.

(184) SF [player_tooltip player_id='2520041' first='Matson' last='Winings'] (South Winneshiek)

A 6-3 wing who is probably the best shooter on the Warriors' roster, Winings averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and shot just under 37% from behind the arc as a sophomore. In addition to his work as an offensive weapon, he's also a bouncy, versatile defender who averaged 1.5 blocks per game last season.
