2025 Rankings Update: Risers Into The Top 50

PH NorCal has updated the 2025 Rankings. In this group we have the top ranking risers in this class who have earned their way into the top 50 rankings with their play on the court.    Ackerman vaulted up to 21 from 72 with his steady and productive play throughout the Spring and Summer while playing with Team Arsenal. He's a playmaking guard with a versatile skill set, that allows him to involve others, and generate buckets while playing at a high level. His 18.5 ppg, 7R, 2.6 steals led his high school team. He has a nice frame to build up, a good understanding of the game. He's got the attention of college coaches.     Johnson seems to be coming into his own at the right time. The 6'9 wiry prospect is loaded with next level possibilities. He's a court runner, and a rim protector. He has a skill set on the offensive side that continues improve. We've seen him work from the short corners and the high post. He can use a dribble or two. He'll put a 3ptr.     He's become one of NorCal's better forwards standing 6'7. He's an experienced prospect ready to take his game to another level. He had a breakout season that ended with a dominant performance in the State Championship game. He's continued into the Spring and Summer adding pieces to his overall game. Improved footwork, using a dribble or two, high post jumpers, and an occasional 3ptr.     He's a legitimate prospect who getting attention from college coaches. He has work to do in his development, nonetheless the 6'7 forward made good strides starting the Spring with NBBA on the Under Armor Circuit. He's strong with a nice size frame to add more bulk. He works hard going after rebounds, and defending his position. With continued offensive development, foot work, balance he'll be hard to guard at this level. We'll see more.     He's a rising prospect with a quality set of guard skills on one of NorCal's top teams. He has the moves to create shots for himself working from the sides, and in transition. He has the know how to run the point guard position with vision, passing and decision making. He's a quality defender with the foot speed to stay close. He has lift on the mid-range, 3pt range.       No player in NorCal has done more to help himself than [player_tooltip player_id='1572967' first='Elliot' last='Conley']. He's pretty much had a breakout Spring and Summer playing with Lakeshow, and his high school team. He's raised his overall skill set to a point where he's a legitimate point producer in different ways. He's knocking down 3's at a good rate, using his dribble to get closer to the rim, he'll finish in the paint. In transition he might dunk on you. He'll get his share of rebounds. Improved handles, good passer.     He has good size and strength with decent handles. He can play big guard or work from the forward position. He'll use his dribble from the perimeter to get into the paint to challenge defenders at the rim, or pull-up for paint jumpers. He has range to hits 3's around the perimeter. At 6'5 he'll help rebound, and defend multiple positions. Consistency is key. Good upside, sleeper maybe.     Thomas like his brother have made a big jump in their productivity on the court. Thomas seems to be more of a scrapper, while he's fined tuned his shot making from behind the 3-point line. He's active getting his hands on loose balls, and battling inside going after rebounds, and points in traffic. The twins will be key contributors this season.
