He’s a playmaking guard with a versatile skill set, that allows him to involve others, and generate buckets while playing at a high level. His 18.5 ppg, 7R, 2.6 steals led his high school team. He has a nice frame to build up, a good understanding of the game. He’s got the attention of college coaches.

Ackerman has recently been playing up with Arsenal Elite 17U. He seems to be holding his own with this group finding ways to contribute when he’s on the court. At 6’2 he has good foot speed, he gave effort on the defensive side of the ball, he had a couple of blocks. He didn’t waste dribbles, made good passes up, and across the court. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
