August is almost half over, meaning the new academic school year is quickly approaching. The senior class is set to make their mark on the floor, especially ones who have the potential to play another sport in college. Here are the 2025 dual-sport athletes to track this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1775123' first='Naiim' last='Parrish'], 5'11 CG Bergen Catholic

Parrish was a key part in the backcourt for the Crusaders last season and should carry it over into his senior season. The Minnesota football commit attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Parrish is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is a tough on-ball defender and moves well without the ball in his hands. Parrish is a gritty guard prospect who does whatever it takes to help his team win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411628' first='Jahmir' last='Joseph'], 6'2 PG St. Joseph (Mont.)

Joseph has been the Green Knights' leading scorer over the past two seasons and is looking to make it a third in 2024-25. The Penn State football commit has a quick first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Joseph can also score in the mid-range and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He pushes the pace nicely in transition and slides his feet on defense. Joseph put up six 20-point games last season and is looking to eclipse that mark this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1949287' first='Kenny' last='Smith'], 5'11 CG Glassboro

Smith transferred to Glassboro during the offseason and should make an immediate impact for them on the hardwood. The Hammonton transfer is a blur in the open floor as he uses his speed to get by his defender and can finish through contact. Smith has a nice touch in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He gets his teammates involved in the halfcourt and plays with good instincts on the defensive end. Smith has the potential to put up points in bunches and should continue to do so over the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1949268' first='Jayden' last='Elijah'], 6'7 C Matawan

Elijah is a force down low and will be tough to stop in the paint all season long. The Rutgers football commit uses his size to get position down low and finishes nicely around the basket. Elijah routinely draws contact in the paint and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He is tough to keep off the offensive glass and holds his ground on the defensive end. Elijah should be a double-double machine this season as he will dominating in the interior all season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919194' first='Ryan' last='Prior'], 6'4 SF Red Bank Catholic

Prior finished the 2023-24 campaign with three straight 20-point games and is looking to carry that form over into the regular season. The Virginia baseball commit has a quick release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Prior can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He works hard on the defensive end and rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Prior is a sharpshooting wing prospect who should torch the nets throughout the course of the season.
