Our post-spring update of the Class of 2027 rankings is complete and a number of guys saw a jump in the rankings. Here's a look at some of the top stock risers in this latest round of updates.

+20 - [player_tooltip player_id='2364071' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'], Canby (from #31 to #11) - A three-sport athlete, Brauckmiller was an immediate contributor at Canby averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds a game and was practically automatic around the basket shooting just under 68 percent from the field. Adept at both blocking shots and garnering steals, his best basketball is still ahead of him.

+20 - [player_tooltip player_id='2124995' first='Carter' last='Lemon'], Tualatin (from #40 to #20) - Playing mostly JV last season, Lemon appears to be not only on varsity in 2024-25 but also a major contributor. He's been starting games in June and has shown himself to be arguably the team's top shooting threat and has been knocking down catch-and-shoot threes left and right. Far from just a shooter, the 5-foot-9 guard can create for himself and others too.

+14 - [player_tooltip player_id='2132836' first='Avery' last='Johnson'], Sherwood (from #26 to #12) - Johnson emerged as a piece of the rotation on Sherwood varsity last season and his game and role should continue to elevate. He's got all the physical tools with good size at 6-foot-2 and the lefty also has the strength and athleticism to get past defenders and finish at the rim.

+10 - [player_tooltip player_id='2026486' first='Keone' last='Gates'], Grant (from #18 to #8) - Grant is loaded with young backcourt talent and Gates may be the fastest of them all. In June ball, the 5-foot-10 point guard has really pushed the pace on both ends of the floor and while he is a true point guard, he doesn't necessarily need the ball in his hands to be effective.

+10 - [player_tooltip player_id='2132795' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'], Nelson (from #34 to #24) - After playing JV at Central Catholic last season, Garlington moves on to Nelson and should have a major role with the team. The 6-foot swingman is a high-level athlete that can really get up and down the floor and finish in transition and his ball skills are continuing to develop.

+9 - [player_tooltip player_id='2172116' first='Rocco' last='Ebenal'], Sunset (from #24 to #15) - Sunset has looked extremely impressive this summer and the emergence of Ebenal is a big reason why. The 5-foot-11 guard has settled right into the starting point guard spot and not only has the crafty dribble and moves to keep defenders off balance but also the creativity to finish in the lane or at the hoop with a variety of shots.
