Tufts University had day one of their elite camp on Saturday, July 21st. There were more than 50 kids in the gym, and definitely a bunch of D3 hoopers. Here is part one of Saturday's standouts. Part two will be coming tomorrow (Sunday) morning, and Sunday standouts will be coming Sunday/Monday.

Neuenhaus has great size at 6-foot-8, but he also showcased a fairly consistent three point shot, which he was able to get off after dribbling and on the catch. He certainly needs to get stronger – which will help him defensively against larger players and also offensively finishing in the paint – but right now he spends a lot of time on the perimeter. His body is certainly still developing, so he could look different in a year. The New Jersey native is a mid-tier D3 player with a lot of room for growth.

Velyvis is calm, cool and collected with the ball in his hands. The 6-foot point guard has a very solid handle and a knack for setting up driving angles in the pick and roll. He can also make the right pass when two defenders come to him, and the open three when the defenders stay with the roller. Just a really solid point guard who can confidently run your squad. I would expect him to find a mid to high D3 squad to play for, although some added muscle would be huge for him.

Baylor had easily the quickest first-step at the elite camp. Absolutely nobody could stay in front of him once he put the jets on, and he had some above-the-rim athleticism to show once he got to the cup. He's still fairly skinny and looks to be developing physically, which will eventually help him out in terms of being more patient in the lane. Definite D3 prospect with the potential for more. If he grows enough, maybe high D3 or low D2 could be in the cards.

Agyapong is as under control at the point guard position as it gets. He never gets hurried, and he always makes the right decisions in the paint; he does a great job of playing off of two feet and is supremely unselfish once the defense comes. If the defense doesn't come, he uses great footwork and craft in the lane to get his shot off. Agyapong can also defend point guards for 94 feet and keep them in front religiously. High level D3 prospect who can run your team.

Aguek was terrorizing offensive players for 94 feet all day. He's got excellent lateral quickness and really good hands; he was basically a walking pick-6. Aguek also showed a really solid looking three-point stroke and some crafty finishing moves in the lane. He's sort of a do-it-all combo guard who plays both ends and won't give up too much on either. The South Burlington native should find a solid D3 fit somewhere, and it'll be interesting to see whether he gets longer or taller this year.

Bianco was living in the paint all day. He's certainly undersized for the point guard position – 6-feet is definitely a stretch – but he makes up for it with great quickness and high skill-level. Bianco has a bag of crafty finishes at the rim and can also make plays for his teammates when the help comes. His outside shooting isn't beautiful, but it's good enough to make the defense pay for going under screens. Bianco is a definite D3 player.
