Below is a review of the latest happenings on the recruiting scene in southeastern Pennsylvania (and beyond).

SEPA Recruiting News:

[player_tooltip player_id='1460634' first='Everett' last='Barnes'] – 6'9″ / 2025 / Father Judge / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Power Forward: In 2023-24 Barnes (4 ppg.; 4 rpg. & 1.5 bpg.) was a key reserve for Father Judge. But an impressive spring circuit followed by standout Philly HS Live sessions has sent his recruiting stock skyward. Barnes just received an offer from Rider University.

[player_tooltip player_id='1187931' first='Devin' last='Booker'] – 6'5″ / 2025 / Cristo Rey / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] 3SSB / Wing: Booker is widely regarded as one of the most talented wing-forwards in the region. After the 2023-24 season he was a 1st Team All-PJAC selection. Now Booker (22 ppg.) has picked up an offer from George Mason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1608319' first='KJ' last='Coles'] – 6'1” / 2026 / Pocono Mt. West / PSA Cardinals / Combo Guard: Across the two Philly HS Live session Coles was one of top prospects we watched. He scored the ball with ease, but also displayed a more well-rounded skill set compared to this winter. The result was that Coles recently pulled in an offer from Holy Cross.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188627' first='Milan' last='Dean'] – 6'3″ / 2025 / Archbishop Wood / [program_tooltip program_id='2428023' first='Philly' last='Revolution'] / Wing: Dean is a fast and athletic three level scorer who can also work as a secondary ball handler. The versatility and skills he displayed at Philly HS Live just produced an offer from West Chester University (D2).

[player_tooltip player_id='1454254' first='Luca' last='Foster'] – 6'5″ / 2026 / Archbishop Carroll / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Wing: Foster has developed into one of the top scoring wing prospects in the area, regardless off graduation year. He was a top performer at Philly HS Live and those outstanding runs generated offers from Villanova and East Carolina.

[player_tooltip player_id='2047550' first='Carnell' last='Henderson'] – 6'4″ / 2025 / Imhotep Charter / BW Elite / Wing: Henderson is an athletic, fast, and multi-skilled prospect who has been flying under the radar at Imhotep. His breakout came during last month's live period. Those jaw dropping were followed by an offer from Rider University.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369805' first='Jayden' last='Kelsey'] – 6'6” / 2025 / Westtown School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Wing: In 2023-24 Kelsey (HM All-FSL selection) posted 10 points; 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game. He posted a fantastic spring EYBL circuit and was tremendous at the DMV Live event. As a result of his play over the last three months, Kelsey has picked up offers from Loyola (MD) and Binghamton.

[player_tooltip player_id='1197607' first='Jaron' last='McKie'] – 6'1″ / 2025 / St. Joseph's Prep / NJ Scholars EYBL / Combo Guard: From April through June, no prospect has increased his recruiting stock more than McKie (1st Team All-PCL; 1st Team 6A All-State). This fast, three level scoring guard holds several offers and just added one from Dayton to his pile.

[player_tooltip player_id='1271438' first='Jahmare' last='Memphis'] – 6'0” / 2025 / Westtown School / [program_tooltip program_id='2423459' first='PA' last='Hoops Academy'] / Point Guard: Memphis can score off the dribble and pop threes, but it is his ability to run a team and deliver timely passes that college coaches will drool over. Plus, Memphis is a menacing on-ball defensive presence. The staff at LaSalle appears to understand his potential as they just sent Memphis an offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1611959' first='Derrick' last='Morton-Rivera'] – 6'4″ / 2026 / Father Judge / NJ Shoreshots Rio UAA / Combo Guard: Morton-Rivera absolutely destroyed the competition at Session 2 of Philly HS Live with his ability to score from anywhere on the court. Thus, it should not be a surprise that this walking bucket just received offers from Temple and UAlbany.

[player_tooltip player_id='1287319' first='Ben' last='Natal'] – 6'1″ / 2025 / Central York / York Ballers / Point Guard: Natal (1,000+ pt. scorer) remains one of the top uncommitted point guards in the state. In 2023-24 he averaged 15.6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 dimes per night while leading Central York to the PIAA 6A state title. Last week he received an offer from Loyola (MD).

[player_tooltip player_id='1136565' first='Jake' last='West'] – 6'2″ / 2025 / Penn Charter / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Point Guard: West continued to advance his recruiting stock with a host of brilliant performances at DMV Hoops Live. His ability to blend three-level scoring with well-timed distributing helped add an offer from Northeastern to his extensive list. Additionally, at the end of last month, West took an unofficial visit to Penn State.

SEPA Commitments:

Moses Hipps – 6'4″ / 2024 / Compass Prep (AZ) / Game Elite / Combo Guard: The former Archbishop Carroll superstar (19 ppg. & 40% on threes) spent the 2023-24 season playing with Compass Prep in Arizona against a national schedule. Two days ago, Hipps announced via Instagram that he had chosen Boise State from among his numerous DI offers.

Nasir Washington – 6'3″ / 2024 / Rocktop Academy / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Combo Guard: One of the most accomplished scoring guards in the region has announced that he has committed to local JUCO powerhouse Harcum College. In 202-23 Washington (1,300+ career points) played for Penn Wood where he posted 24 ppg. and was a 3rd Team 6A All-State selection. During his post graduate year at Rocktop, Washington proved he could run as a primary ball handler too.
