Who were the top players from the Prep Hoops Nationals Gold Bracket from each team? We break it down now!

NEBC - Miles White. The 6'2 guard was one of the most relentless players I saw all summer and that's quite impressive considering he barely came out of a game. White scored 27 plus a game, had a 35 point game, and even more impressive, he was the leader of a team that only lost three games on the court all season. NEBC was a Pool A/Pool B, top bracket seed team that on the court went 21-3 this year. Very impressive.

Watching Closest: A coach from GCU (NJ) checked in with us on White, there were junior colleges that checked in with White, and a number of local schools walked by the NEBC games and had a look.

Minnesota Comets Allen - [player_tooltip player_id='1584900' first='Gage' last='Braiedy']. I continue to really like how Gage attacks. His reads, his patience, the use of the ball screen, and the read of the second defender, they've all helped him consistently get to good space to take what is one of the better pull-ups in his class. Very efficient scoring guard that can likely play both guard spots for a team.

Watching Closest: There has been an interesting assortment that have consistently been watching Gage and his Comets Allen team. I believe I have seen Jamestown, Bethany, UMD, Superior, Dakota State, Valley City State and Wisconsin LaCrosse watching Gage and/or his team often.

Wisconsin Playmakers National: Kane Donnelly. This 6'3 guard had a strong summer doing so many things possession to possession. You want to help your team win? Want to stay on the court a ton with the trust of a coach? Find a way to positively help your team every possession on both ends, and that is what I feel I have seen from Kane. Kane is your point guard, quarterback, decision maker when off the ball, high academic producer.

Watching Closest: I know I have seen Hamline, St. Olaf, UW Stout and UW-Superior watching this team which likely means Kane is a guy they are talking about. I would also assume the amount of football coaches in touch is a big list.

Flight Athletics Black: Quintin Wiencek. This 6'5 strong forward was one of the players that made me stop, grab the packet, and find the name. I first saw him using his attack game to get the corner and then muscle to score but in watching the next contest some, Wiencek was starting to show range that also caught the eye. Believe he was near 20 points in both of those games.

Watching Closest: When we have been in Illinois (and some in MN) I think we saw teams like Illinois Wesleyan, DePauw, UW Platteville, Wabash, North Central (MN), Lawrence, UW-Oshkosh, and others.

[program_tooltip program_id='2422572' first='D1' last='Minnesota Gold']: [player_tooltip player_id='1586882' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson']. Maybe I am on an island here but I think [player_tooltip player_id='1586882' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson'] is one of the better guards in the state that does not get the same level of constant conversation. I think Johnson's ability to attack, consistency of getting to spaces, and the results he gives from those attacks are better than many other guards.

Watching Closest: Not exactly sure but I think the amount should increase.

Billings Elite: Shaydon Randall. I thought that Billings Elite completed at a solid level with three of the better teams that play on the PH Circuit often plus they beat the Big 3 in a strong way. A big reason for that was that Shaydon was competing against future D3 players at his position from Fury Shepherd and Minnesota Gold, and got the better of his match-up using a skilled, strong attack.

Watching Closest: UW-Superior is a program I noticed that was keeping an eye on Shaydon.
