There were some epic performances by some of the 15U players. Those are the players I want to highlight in this article for day two. Scoring, rebounding, defense, shooting, and a game winner. You name it, this article probably has it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2499143' first='Kolson' last='Smedley'] was contributing on both ends of the court. On defense, he was playing good interior defense and came away with a couple of steals. He grabbed some rebounds and even turned one into second chance points. He had one of the biggest highlights that I saw out of all of 15U. He drove to the basket and made a posterizing dunk over the defender. His impact went beyond that, as he knocked down a three pointer, as well. It was a good complete game for him.

Jacob Nichols contributed in a few different areas. He excelled at rebounding, fighting for loose balls and getting positioning to grab one rebound after another. He came away with a block and played solid defense overall. On offense, he hit multiple mid-range pull-ups to go along with multiple free throws. It was a solid performance on both ends of the court.

Michael Ndubueze had a couple of things that he did exceptionally well in this contest. What stood out to me the most is his rebounding. He came away with several boards to go along with him playing great defense. He was doing a great job at contesting any shot that was remotely close to the interior. It was a great job controlling the paint and the tone of this one.

Mauri Hankins was all over the court, doing everything in his power to lift his team to victory. There were several times that it felt like he had a radar for the ball, as it felt like he was continually there grabbing a rebound and pushing the pace. This led to several fast break points. A couple of times he got the offensive rebound and put it back in. He played great perimeter defense, coming away with a couple of steals. His scoring was the beneficiary of him knocking down a three and also knocking down free throws. He showed the ability to not be fazed by pressure, as he scored inside to take a one point lead with 30 seconds left. This was then followed by him getting a steal and knocking down both free throws to ice the game with 17 seconds remaining. This was the second craziest sequence of events for a player that I saw. It was definitely a special feat with what he did to lift his team to victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2047672' first='Joe' last='Stieferman'] had the best sequences of plays that I saw at the event. He showed that he can be THE GUY and bring out his inner Mamba. He showed throughout the event that he is an elite level shooter, but he took it to the next level at the end of his last game. His opponents hit a shot just inside half-court at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. In overtime, his team was down three with six seconds left. He rose up and knocked down the contest three from the corner to tie the game. He then forces a steal with two seconds left and then draws the foul at the buzzer to make the game-winning free throw. Outside of this and his shooting, he showed that he can get to the rim and score. He also grabbed some rebounds and played solid defense. It was a spectacular game for him
