After spending Tuesday through Sunday at the Adidas 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships, Prep Hoops Indiana extended our stay in South Carolina with a trip to North Augusta for the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. We were in the gym Sunday evening and all day Monday as well, but today is our first chance to really crank out some content. Let's empty out the notebook from a day spent watching some of the top prospects in the county.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] Holds on Against MoKan Select

[program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] came out of the gate hot as their athleticism and physicality punched MoKan Select in the mouth. They dominated around the basket, played through contact from the perimeter, and consistently converted at the foul line. However, some late three-point shooting and relentless attacking off of the dribble from Mason English gave MoKan Select a chance at the end.

Ultimtely, [player_tooltip player_id='1385300' first='Antonio' last='Munoz'] and company were too much as [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] held on to win 73-67 in the noon matchup. Munoz, a three-star small forward, was the best player on the court in this one finishing with 17 points on nearly perfect 8-9 shooting from the field. He initiated a lot of offense for [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] as they played through him in the high post where he made good decisions and muscled his way to the rim on face-up drives as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1774274' first='Jayden' last='Tyler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1385285' first='Melvin' last='Bell'] each added 12 points while Indiana native [player_tooltip player_id='1297002' first='Chase' last='Konieczny'] chipped in 8 points.

For MoKan Select, Bhan Buom led all scorers in the game with 21 points. The 6'7” left-handed wing/forward was incredibly impressive. He moves around fluidly, made several jump shots, and proved himself as a versatile defender. Low-major programs that aren't offering him this coming weekend or mid-majors that aren't seriously evaluating him might be missing the boat. He is a really talented under-the-radar prospect with a high upside.

JL3 Defeats Team United

This game was an absolute rock fight through the first two quarters. JL3 and Team United combined to shoot just 8-26 from the field in the first half before opening it up and shooting 65% in the second half. The improved efficiency tipped in the favor of JL3 as they also lived at the foul line down the stretch shooting 12-14 in the second half to take down Team United 70-62.

Super physical, four-star wing Shelton Henderson led JL3 scoring 18 points. He is a really impressive two-way prospect with pro potential. Hudson Greer, a fellow highly sought-after four-star prospect, added 12 points. Meanwhile, Sebastian Williams-Adams and Christian Jones rounded out those in double figures with 11 points and 10 points respectively.

Despite the loss, Sadiq White was the most impressive prospect in this matchup. The Syracuse commit finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 8-11 from the field. White is a long, athletic lefty that plays well above the rim. He had a couple of highlight-worthy dunks and showcased some impressive defensive versatility. It looks like Syracuse really good a good one with him.

Oakland Soldiers Come Roaring Back to Win

After five-star Will [player_tooltip player_id='2389565' first='Riley' last=''] reclassified to the 2024 and committed to Illinois it left a giant hole in UPlay's roster. However, on Tuesday evening, they went toe-to-toe with arguably the best team at the Peach Jam nearly knocking off the Oakland Soldiers. Char Yeiy and Onyx Nnani paced UPlay in the first half both scoring in double-figures to build 39-29 lead. Then, Spencer Ahrens got cooking to help maintain their lead until they simply couldn't hold on anymore.

Obviously AJ Dybantsa is the star of the show for the Oakland Soldiers, and he was their leading scorer on Tuesday night, but it was Tyran Stokes and Angelino Mark who really led the comeback. Stokes, the #2 ranked prospect in the Class of 2026, was dominant off of the dribble consistently playing through contact and dominating at the rim. Mark knocked in a couple of big three-point shots and ran the show from the point guard spot as they overcame their once double-digit deficit. Ultimately, the Oakland Soldiers escaped with a 73-65 victory.

Dybantsa led all scorers in the game with 23 points while Stokes added a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Ahrens finished with 18 points in the loss for UPlay.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] Steals One at the End

Jeremiah Fears scored 10 points in the opening minutes to set the tone for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'], but this would be a tight one for all 32 minutes. The game was tied after one quarter, Brad Beal Elite lead by five going into the half, and then it was tied once again heading into the fourth quarter. Then, Brad Beal started to pull away in the final minutes. Brad Beal Elite took a double-figure lead with about three minutes to go and appeared to be on their way to a victory. However, a third four-point play of the game from Fears shifted the momentum, [player_tooltip player_id='1297052' first='Jalen' last='Haralson'] had a couple of strong drives to the basket, and Keashawn Jordan threw one down to ultimately tied the game at 69-69 in the final seconds.

Haralson pulled up from near the top of the key with just under 10 seconds to play but missed his potential game-winning shot attempt. However, Fears skied above his Brad Beal Elite counterparts and secured the offensive rebound. Then, he found a wide open [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] (Cathedral H.S. 2025) across the lane for a layup. Koehler's go-ahead bucket with 3.9 seconds remaining proved to be the game-winner as [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] would escape with a 71-69 victory.
