Arius helped his team finish the season strong at the Bigfoot Las Vegas Main Event. He's a guy who has the range to pull from way back and he did a nice job relocating along the perimeter to find space to knock down shots. While you can just about always count on his shooting, what really made the difference was their team defense. His effort showed specifically on the ball, shutting down drives, and playing with active hands. He had a big play to open the second half of their final game, tipping a pass on the ball and taking it the other way for a momentum bucket right out of the break.

Saw a couple of his games from Cali Live and was really impressed with his ability to adapt. Normally a lights out shooter, he started cold from 3-point range in one game but made the adjustment to attack the cup and started getting things going. Of course, in the next game I saw he was back to knocking down long-range buckets with quick pulls off the catch. He's a smooth offensive player who has the tools to score from each level and showed he's able to get to his spots and attack with whatever is working.

One of the top shooters in his class, Jenkins continued that trend last weekend. It may seem like a simple thing, but Jenkins brings some real eloquence to the outside shot. He's one of the best in Washington at getting closeout defenders off their feet and repositioning for wide-open shots. He did this several times over the weekend, side-stepping, pumping, working the pick-and-pop, and showing extended range from three. He also put in some good work on the boards, not always coming down with the ball, but keeping it alive and giving teammates time to come help secure the rock.

Gardner was in total control of his offensive game, burying shots from deep, mixing in strong takes to the hoop, and attacking confidently with the ball. He showed a nice feel for court spacing, deciding when to attack, when to swing the ball, and how to move without the rock. He was able to work different areas of the court and kept the defense off balance with his ability to score or find the open man.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850299' first='Kaden' last='Powers'] Rainier Beach | NW Rotary Rebels

Powers averaged 16.7 PPG in the PIT at Peach Jam and was especially effective from 3-point, going 25-53 (47.2%). We know about his prolific midrange game and his physicality at the rim, but this type of volume and high efficiency from behind the arc shows another dimension to his game that college coaches can key in on. He had games of 22, 20, and 28 points, as well as dropping in three or more 3s in five of their games over the weekend.
