There is no offseason here at the Prep Hoops Indiana headquarters. However, the transition between the scholastic period in June back to grassroots basketball in July serves a logical point to reset and refresh our prospect rankings. Last week, we hit the Class of 2027 expanding our rankings to a Top 25 while growing our Watch List to over 200 names. Now, to begin the month of July, we have released an expanded Top 125 for the Class of 2026 along with over 200 names on the Watch List. Along with releasing our rankings, we always like to dive deeper and provide more context. That means highlight stock-risers, new names, positional breakdowns, and much more. Let's begin here with a look at some of the rising juniors who emerged in the Top 125 for the first time in this rankings update.

Some fans around the state of Indiana might have heard his name from playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] on the EYBL Circuit, but Berry has now made the jump from Trinity High School in Louisville to Avon High School here in the Hoosier state. Immediately, the 6'4" guard emerged as a Top 10 prospect in the Class of 2026 with his elite physical and athletic tools on the perimeter. He currently holds an offer from IU-Indianapolis and played his way into a lot of Division I interest with a strong showing with his new team at the Charlie Hughes Showcase.

Fresh played a valuable role in the rotation for Jeffersonville as a sophomore as the Red Devils came within a possession of making it to the Class 4A State Championship game. Now, he will have a chance to take on more of a primary role after transferring to Charlestown for his junior year. The 6'4" wing was excellent at the Charlie Hughes Showcase showcasing his high upside as a dominant two-way threat on the perimeter. His athleticism and length stand out right away, but he was also very effective off of the bounce attacking the basket consistently. There are a lot of reasons to buy stock in this prospect right now.

An emerging prospect in an always talented Ben Davis roster, Moss-Wright has really come onto the scene this spring and summer. He is a talented, shot-making guard with good positional size and athleticism on the perimeter. As is the case with most players that come through Ben Davis, he is more than capable of getting after it on the defensive end of the floor as well. Look for him to continue making a name for himself during the month of July into a big junior campaign with the Giants.

It has been a breakout spring and summer for this Evansville Harrison High School prospect. Shelton has proved himself as a bigger guard/wing with impressive length, athleticism, and shooting ability. He moves off of screening action well, has a quick release, and can make tough shots off of the catch on the perimeter. Intriguing long-term prospect for college programs to keep an eye on in the month of June. He makes his Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings debut at #46 in the Class of 2026.

One of the standouts for [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] as the dominated the Prep Hoops Circuit in the spring which included winning the inaugural Indiana State Championship. Stephens has excellent physical and athletic tools at 6'5" on the wing. He is super long and bouncy, excellent in transition, and was a consistently impactful defender throughout the spring and summer. After getting his feet wet in a handful of games at the varsity level as a sophomore, look for Stephens to really blossom into a larger role for the Pike Red Devils as a junior.

One of the best under-the-radar shooters in the state of Indiana, Werth made 70 three-point shots at an incredible 41.9% clip as a sophomore at West Lafayette High School. He was the Red Devils' leading scorer averaging 14.8 points per game and continued his strong play into the spring and summer where he earned his way into the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Top 125. Really intriguing guard that can flat out shoot the basketball.
