What he brings to the table as a high-percentage catch-and-shoot threat is why small college programs should make an effort to evaluate him at some point.

Werth led the Red Devils in scoring at 15.2 points per game while also contributing 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. His perimeter shooting ability and quickness to the rim really stood out during his junior season.

One of the best under-the-radar shooters in the state of Indiana, Werth made 70 three-point shots at an incredible 41.9% clip as a sophomore at West Lafayette High School. He was the Red Devils’ leading scorer averaging 14.8 points per game and continued his strong play into the spring and summer where he earned his way into the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Top 125. Really intriguing guard that can flat out shoot the basketball.

He is very good with the ball in his hands consistently getting to the basket on Sunday and showing the ability to finish with either hand. Werth can also catch-and-shoot with a sweet lefty stroke when playing off of the ball.
