The wait is finally over as we have updated our 2025 rankings yet again! The class is becoming very familiar to us as we have been evaluating them for years now, but there's always updates to it.

Next on our line of content, we dive into our positional rankings separating them into guards, wings and forwards.

Here's a look at the top five shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

5) [player_tooltip player_id='1956061' first='Sincere' last='Jones'] | 6'6" SF | Churchland (#9 Overall)

Jones is highly underrated and under recruited in my opinion, as he's perhaps the best wing in the 757 and has shown that playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2226248' first='Boo' last='Williams'] on the EYBL Circuit this summer. He is a very high ceiling with tons of potential as he checks the boxes physically and athletically, and has a lot of raw talent that will continue to polish with time. At 6'6” he can handle it in transition and when he gets downhill he plays above the rim effortlessly, he can hit open shots from multiple levels and he's a very good defender and rebounder too.

4) [player_tooltip player_id='1259633' first='Elijah' last='Kelly'] | 6'7” SF | Miler School (#7 Overall)

Kelly is another player that is way under the radar as far his recruitment goes, as he's improved a ton since transferring from Radford to Miller and reclassifying to the 2025 class. While he doesn't put up huge numbers for Team Loaded right now, he is a Swiss-army knife and an elite glue guy, and in the next few weeks he should see his stock soar during the scholiastic live period. He has great size and athleticism on the wing, he has very good ball skills with the ability to create space off the bounce and get to the rim as well, he is a good passer and he can guard multiple positions too.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1546447' first='Ryan' last='Crotty'] | 6'5” SG | Miller School (#4 Overall)

Crotty jumped from 15 to 4 in this rankings update, as he's been one of the biggest stock risers in the entire country this year with [program_tooltip program_id='2226248' first='Boo' last='Williams']. The 6'5” native of North Carolina came to Miller School last year and in his first year he broke the Virginia record for most three-pointers made in a season, and he is one of the top shooters in the EYBL this summer as well. The 6'5” wing has a non stop motor as he moves off the ball well to get open and sets his feet quickly to get his shot off, he has effortless range from deep and he has more to his game as he brings a lot of toughness and effort on both ends too.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='1410534' first='Jordan' last='Scott'] | 6'7” SG | South Lakes (#3 Overall)

Scott had his major blow up last summer as he went from an unknown to a nationally ranked player with offers from high major schools all over, and he showed it wasn't a fluke leading South Lakes to a state championship this year. He checks the boxes across the board that will translate, as he has great size for his position and is productive on both ends of the floor in ways that lead to winning. He is an unselfish player with a great IQ as a playmaker, he's an elite defender who guards the ball well and can block shots coming help side, he shoots the ball well from deep and he's a good finisher at the rim too.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='1591317' first='Nate' last='Ament'] | 6'8” SF | Highland School (#1 Overall)

Ament has ascended to being one of the top players in the country, being a consensus top 15 player in the country, a five star recruit and making his way onto the U18 USA team in South America right now. Ament has a unique skillset for his size, as he's able to play almost any position on the floor and be a mismatch in doing so. At 6'8” he has fantastic perimeter skills, with the ability to handle and knock down shots from deep at a very high clip. He has great form and a quick release from deep, he can put it on the deck and make plays with either hands, he can defend multiple positions and he's a good rebounder who can start the break as well.
