The wait is finally over as we have updated our 2025 rankings yet again! The class is becoming very familiar to us as we have been evaluating them for years now, but there's always updates to it.

Next on our line of content, we dive into our positional rankings separating them into guards, wings and forwards.

Here's a look at part two of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='1328950' first='Chancellor' last='Perkins'] | 6'2” SG | Highland School (#37 Overall)

Perkins may not be the best prospect on Highland School but he's emerged as one of the top scorers in the NOVA area and has proved he can do it against the best of the best. The 6'2” shooting guard is super confident in his shot making ability and will let it fly from way downtown, he can create separation off the bounce to get his shot off and he can score the ball from multiple levels too.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1580731' first='Aiden' last='Caulker'] | 6'4” SG | Bishop O'Connell (#35 Overall)

Caulker is another guy who gets overshadowed at times since he's played with multiple nationally ranked prospects, but he's shown he's an important piece on both ends of the floor for them. He's arguably one of their best perimeter defenders and often takes the role of guarding the team's best scorer, he can work on or off the ball to get open and has shown the ability to make shots from different levels too.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='2242375' first='Shane' last='Crissman'] | 6'5” SG | Miller School (#29 Overall)

Crissman was one of the best players in NOVA public schools last year at Riverside, and now that he's transferring to Miller he'll have a chance to get seen by more coaches in a system that he fits very well in. Miller has been known to shoot a lot of three's and that's Crissman's strength as he is a dead eye shooter who can set his feet and make them on the move, he has great size to get his shot off and he hits at a very high clip from deep too.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='1494098' first='Justin' last='Burrough'] | 6'6” SF | Norfolk Collegiate (#28 Overall)

Burrough is one of the highest ceiling prospects in the 757, and will likely get better when he gets into a college weight room and can play his natural position of small forward versus having to be the tallest player on his team. He has a good frame that should fill out nicely, he has an all-around skill set with the ability to score it from deep and attack off the bounce and he has huge upside defensively as well.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='1489070' first='Danzelle' last='Coles'] | 6'4” SG | STAB (#27 Overall)

Coles was one of the top players in Richmond at Highland Springs before transferring to STAB and reclassifying to the 2025 class, and he is part of perhaps the best backcourt in the state. Coles is a big off guard who can create his own shot in isolation situations, he gets hot quickly and can pour in points in bunches, he can knock down shots off the catch and he is very good at moving off the ball to get open on cuts as well.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1956062' first='Desmon' last='Rose'] | 6'6” SF | John Marshall (#24 Overall)

Rose is a player we have watched steadily improve since joining John Marshall as a sophomore, and while he may be overshadowed on one of the top public schools in the country he's a player coaches should watch for with his versatility at his size. He has great positional size and is a big time athlete who can play above the rim, he's improved a lot in his ball skills and consistency as a shooter and he has all the tools to be a lock down defender for multiple positions at the next level.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1371866' first='Tim' last='Walker'] | 6'3” SG | Bishop O'Connell (#19 Overall)

Walker is a player I expect to really see his stock rise this June with O'Connell, as he's one of their top returning seniors and has a lot of the qualities you look for in a high ceiling two guard. While he mostly plays shooting guard he's shown the ability to handle the ball and make plays for himself and others, he can get downhill and has a crafty middle game, he can knock down shots from deep and he is a solid defender who can turn defense into offense too.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1494110' first='Sebastian' last='Whitfield'] | 6'5” SG | Cape Henry (#18 Overall)

Whitfield is one of the more under recruited players in the state but did pick up a recent offer from Yale, and I expect him to get plenty more moving forward with the way he's been playing on the 3SSB Circuit. At 6'5” Whitfield has great positional size and a frame that should fill out well, he's an explosive athlete who has gotten more comfortable playing above the rim when he gets downhill, he is very good off the bounce in the midrange and he can knock it down off the catch from deep.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1767516' first='Colby' last='White'] | 6'4” SG | Blue Ridge (#16 Overall)

White is another under recruited player who had a breakout year at Blue Ridge this season to move up the rankings, and will likely be one of their go-to players next year as well. The 6'4” guard has long arms and is a good athlete who can get where he wants to with the ball in his hands, he works well off the ball and has improved as a shooter from deep, he's a very good rebounder and defender as well as having the ability to play multiple positions depending on the scheme.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1956071' first='Adlan' last='Elamin'] | 6'7” SF | Paul VI (#14 Overall)

Elamin was a breakout player last June when he transferred to PVI and showed his unique skillset for a player his size, and while he got overshadowed at times on one of the best teams in the country he's still a very intriguing prospect moving forward. At 6'7” he has a basketball body with long arms and flexible limbs allowing him to move like a guard. He is an excellent shooter from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, his size allows him to get shots off when he's closely contested, he's athletic as a finisher and a defender and he still has room to get better moving forward.
