Next on our line of content, we dive into our positional rankings separating them into guards, wings and forwards.
Here’s a look at the top five power forwards and centers in the class.
5)
Quentin Morgan
Quentin
Morgan
6'9" | C
Deep Run | 2025
State
VA
| 6’9” C | Deep Run (#25 Overall)
Morgan was the highest ranked new comer to the rankings, as he has had a great summer and showed a lot of improvement over the past few years. At 6’9” he is strong and mobile with the ability to run the floor and is an athletic finisher when he gets out in transition or gets downhill. He’s going to fill out nicely as he gets in a college weight room, he has good hands to catch and finish, he gets to the line often and shoots a good percentage and he’s a good rebounder as well.
4)
Martez Harris

Cape Henry | 2025
State
#269
Nation
VA
| 6’9” C | Oak Hill (#20 Overall)
Harris has been on the radar for years now, and is one of the most talented players at his size in the entire class. The 6’9” big man from Hampton Roads started as a wing before growing about six inches in a summer, and now he’s a talented mismatch big man who can score it in different ways. He’s excellent in the mid-post area with fall aways and pull-ups off of face ups, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch, he can use his size to clear out space and he has the ability to switch and guard multiple positions.
3)
Riley Jacobs

Jacobs
6'8" | C
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes | 2025
State
VA
| 6’8” C | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes (#13 Overall)
Jacobs has blossomed over the past few years into one of the best bigs in the DMV, and he still has a lot of room to get better moving forward. At 6’8” he’s very mobile and athletic for his size, allowing him to run the floor and play above the rim while also moving his feet defensively to switch and protect the rim. He has good ball skills with the ability to put it on the deck in straight lines, he can knock down shots when he’s left open, he has good touch with both hands around the rim and he plays with a good motor as well.
2)
Jaquan Womack

Womack
6'7" | PF
Paul VI | 2025
State
#284
Nation
VA
| 6’7” PF | Paul VI (#12 Overall)
Womack has been a prospect we’ve kept tabs on for a while now, and while he sometimes gets overshadowed by playing on one of the top teams in the country last year he showed flashes he could be the go-to guy this year. He’s one of the most versatile players you’ll find at his size, as he has the frame and strength to bang in the post as well as the skills to play on the perimeter as well. He handles the ball well and can get to the rim where he can create space and finish, he can make shots from the midrange and from deep, he’s a good playmaker and he guards multiple positions too.
1) Silas Barksdale Silas Barksdale 6'8" | PF Woodside | 2025 State #176 Nation VA | 6’9” PF | Woodside (#5 Overall)
Barksdale moves up to the top 5 of our rankings as he is coming off a strong junior season where he led Woodside to a second straight state championship, and he’s had a great spring on the EYBL Circuit. The 6’9” forward is as consistent as they come, as he is a walking double-double and because he’s still young for his age he still has room to improve. He has a great motor and attacks the glass hard on both ends, and his mobility allows him to run the floor and move his feet to guard multiple positions on the defensive end. He has great touch around the rim and out to 18 feet, he is an athletic finisher above the rim, he plays with great energy and he brings it every time he’s on the floor.
