For June, it was the first of two now annual High School events hosted by Williams and Watkins, this one last Saturday at Next Play 360, and the basketball was stellar.
We looked at six Impression-Makers in Part 1, here’s Part 2:

There was quite a bit of scuttlebutt prior to the Warriors taking the floor about Luster and this somewhat new-look Cherokee bunch now minus star 2025 Lawrence Sanford (left school), Luster made waves as a freshman starting for Coach Joe Viehman and garnered a bunch of high praise throughout last winter, immediately you see the confidence as a creator and the ability to shake and bake guys off the bounce, at the basket the lefty can finish with both hands but is a bit left-side dominant on the overall attack at the moment, time and seasoning will change that as he can really stroke it from deep as well and together with 6-4 2026 wing Sean Hamilton Sean Hamilton 6'7" | SF Cherokee | 2026 State GA and guard Hampton Cox means once again you’d better not sleep on the fast-paced all-go Warriors.
Tony LoPresti

Mount Paran Christian | 2026

| Guard | Mt Paran | 2026
No Cam Hewling meant more of the ball for some of their other risers and LoPresti impressed with his signature catch-and-shoot ability, we know the amount of work he puts in being with SEBA and his father Director Billy LoPresti, physically his body is more than ready for the vigors of what will be a brutal A-D1 Region now that the Eagles have moved in, a good ballhandler and defender and the brain of a coach means he has all the natural leadership qualities as well, fellow Eagles Andric Parent and Chris Park also distinguished themselves as this group has been together awhile now and looks very seasoned.
Gray Smith | Guard | West Forsyth | 2025
Played well but nonetheless in the shadow of a 2024 class the last couple of years which was deep and big and captured most of the headlines, all he did was go out and shoot the rock at a very high clip and play sound basketball with it in his hands, now it’s his team and he and a few of his other classmates (Micah Babb, Jayden Frias, Jason Tawuo) will have their chance to step forward, Smith is for anyone who’s been watching one of the really fine shooters North of the Perimeter and can make a case for one of the better knockdown guys in the whole ATL-Metro, when shooting is in such high demand at the next level Smith at 6-4 he can add a ton to a college program.
Jacob Turner | Guard | Centennial | 2025
Was excited to see the maturation of this bunch with basically the whole team back from an up-and-down yet fascinating at times ’23-24, the team maturity aspect looks good for June and Turner has a lot to do with that, a baseball star with a D1 body for the diamond for sure he uses that strength and pure gifts of movement well on the floor on the attack and defensively, his basketball game has emerged as well as he’s just one of those guys that gets how to play with other people and makes the right play more often than not, an athletic finisher and improved shooter he teams with 2025 guys like
Lamari Campbell

and Kam Stone to give them veteran leadership while helping bring along young talents like

Darius Styles | Guard | Archer | 2025
It’s Year 2 for Coach Antoine Stroud in Lawrenceville and he will turn the ball over full-time to Styles after the Tigers said goodbye once again to a bunch of talented pieces, seeing the slick-handling PG knock down three consecutive three-balls definitely got my attention as he checks a lot of other boxes as a lead guard, he’s always been impressive with the ball so adding that kind of consistent deep shooting can potentially draw eyeballs even though he falls into that often dreaded but not always fair under-6-foot category.
Brendan Tousignaut

He and fellow 2025 Cade Lomas Cade Lomas 6'1" | CG Sequoyah | 2025 State GA both had eye-opening moments during the day but it was interesting to see how far Tousignaut has come in newer aspects of his game, handled the ball a lot at point which was a surprise but a welcome one from a recruiting standpoint, facing up as more than just a shooter the 6-6 wing was getting by people and creating contact at the rim, had the play of the day with a drive-and-finish OT game-winner vs Gainesville in front of a lot of coaching and scouting eyeballs, you love the deep shooting he’s given us for years now and at the Showcase we got a glimpse of the other work he’s been putting in with Spencer Dixon and the Sewer South guys and the results look big time.
