The junior is a skilled, left handed guard, who really knows how to play. Luster has good strength and foot speed and has the ability to create offensive opportunities off the dribble. His strong work ethic should allow his improvement to continue.

Luster lacked offensively in the first half without a point but when the game narrowed he stepped up in a major way. Tasked with defending Luke Jack Luke Jack 6'6" | PG Creekview | 2025 State GA , Braylon helped hold the star guard scoreless in the fourth quarter. Luster scored all 10 of his points after halftime, seven coming in the decisive fourth quarter as he scored on a drive, sank a three and hit a pull-up. Throughout the night even when his shot wasn’t dropping and he battled foul trouble, Luster showed toughness with his ability to corral rebounds in traffic, the lefty pulling down five boards.

Braylon Luster Braylon Luster 6'3" | CG/PG Cherokee | 2027 State GA got better and better throughout his freshman year at Cherokee, eventually stepping up in some big games down the stretch. Luster is a skilled lefty that shoots it well off the bounce. His bag is full of different combos and side-steps that allow him to get to his spots and gain separation. With Sanford off to AZ Compass, Luster looks like he’ll have the keys next year at Cherokee.

While the loaded 2023 class is out the door at Cherokee, Braylon Luster Braylon Luster 6'3" | CG/PG Cherokee | 2027 State GA will be expected to step in and contribute right away. The 6’1 combo guard is skilled offensively and understands the game well for a player his age. At the very least, I think Luster will provide a consistent shotmaker to play off of Lawrence Sanford Lawrence Sanford 6'3" | CG/PG Vista Murrieta | 2025 State #201 Nation CA-S until they each settle into their new roles. Learning from Sanford will likely benefit Luster tremendously before he eventually takes over the reigns.
