The WCAC is losing a All-Conference player in [player_tooltip player_id='1370501' first='Jaren' last='Curtis'] who is heading to Shabach Academy where he joins another top ranked guard. You can describe Jaren as steady and solid, because he makes all the right plays you want in a PG. The very athletic guard gets to his spots for the mid-range jumper which he shoots well. The Metro Private League Conference is getting another All-Conference guard and you heard it heard first.

The St.Johns transfer will bring a lot of experience to the backcourt of Head Coach Tee Johnson. Atosh (Pete) Newman is a great passer and very good at getting paint touches in the half court set. He has great size for a PG and his ball handling will be huge factor for the Tigers. He can make open shots and very competitive on defense. He is definitely a great new face in a new place that will sure help the Tigers compete for a championship.

Christmas came early for Clinton Grace being able to pick up the #3 wing in the area for the class of 2026. He will be able to play fast in the up and down offense that Clinton Grace runs and Coach Paige loves the defense he brings over. Khalib can switch on smaller guards or bigs because of his size and that will allow the coaches to play him in a lot of different line ups. Only a Junior his stock will continue to rise and I'm sure the staff at Clinton Grace is excited to have him.

There are two things you can count on in this world and that's paying taxes and Coach Singletary reloading every year at Sidwell. Jalyn was second team in the WCAC last year and the kid is a rebounding machine. A super athletic kid that finishes around the rim really well with both hands. Jalyn is a very good shot blocker with great timing without fouling. He will be a great pick and pop guy for their guards. Sidwell will have him holding down a front court that will be one of the best in the league this year.
