New 2025 Prospects in June

The first few weekends of June has allowed PH NorCal to see new prospects. They'll have the opportunity to play their way into the rankings with their play throughout June with their high school teams and over the Summer when we get back to club season in July and August. Here are the Newcomers we'll be taking a closer look at.    He's a steady point guard with decent handles. He has good speed making his way into the paint, planting, then deciding off two feet. He makes the post entry pass, spreads the ball around the perimeter. He sticks to the ball handler on defense, good foot speed, and lateral movement.     He's a solid body, runs the court. He'll work his way in to get offensive rebounds. If open he'll shoot a 3. He rebounds, looks for a body to box-out. At 6'5 with a solid body he gives good effort defending in the post.     He's a long wiry prospect that can defend multiple positions, doesn't mind mixing it up working for rebounds, and defending in the post. He'll set good screens on the perimeter before slashing to the basket. He doesn't score much, but does contribute in other ways.     He's a shooting guard, working the corners, roaming the baseline looking to put up a quick catch and shoot corner 3, or use one dribble. He brings it up on the sides. He's got a few moves to go by defenders to get his points, floaters, pull-ups. He can hit the long 3ptr.     He plays with energy and effort. He has good lift shooting the short jumper from the corners, and in the paint. He uses a jump stop in the paint, then powers up. He'll get rebounds, go after blocks, and dunk in transition. He can defend from perimeter to paint.     He's a strong hard playing guard that can go get a bucket. He attacks hard off the dribble, finishes with strong moves inside, battling through contact. He's got good hops, a solid body, and willing to challenge bigs men at the rim. He's got a floater, and a reliable paint jumper.     He's a good combo guard with handles, excellent passing and vision to see the court. He shows patience up top in half-court sets, passes up in transition. He has the speed and dribble to penetrate, dish, dump, pull-up for paint jumpers, and floaters. Working off ball he can hit the long jumper, and create off the dribble.     He's a muscular physical guard that looks to take it strong to the basket with hard dribbles when he's sees an opening. At 5'11 he has the muscles and toughness to get things done in the paint. He plays off two feet. He's takes it strong to the basket in transition, he'll dunk if there's a clear path.     A good ball handling guard with a first step that will get him into the paint to finish with the left. He plays under control. He has a good mid-range jumper he can hit off the dribble from different areas including in the paint. He passes up in transition.
