Indiana US Amateur Basketball Summer Classic: All Tournament Team

The small town of Lebanon, Indiana became the center of attention for the ball players across the state. These young guys showed all the necessary skills that made them worthy of being on the All tournament team.    A very talented big man who played unstoppable in the game I witnessed over the weekend. Has the skills to score in the paint and out on the wing. Excellent at grabbing rebounds at a very high level on both ends of the floor. He has good ball handling skills that he used to get around defenders and attack the basket. Showed really good passing ability, often finding open teammates for easy baskets. When fast break situations came around; he was able to finish with a layup or make plays for others. Kayden is a really good player who will be even greater as he ages. He's already shown the ability to score in various ways at a high level. Having a player who can score and rebound are major abilities any coach would love to have.     Josiah was a monster on the court! I watched this little guy be a terror on offense and defense over the weekend. Excellent ball handler who used a variety of moves to attack defenders, often winning the battle. He showed the ability to knock down long range threes and free throws. A very crafty player who loves slashing to the basket and scoring for himself or dishing it off to teammates. Josiah is a truly great defender who forced multiple turnovers and really applied pressure to opposing guards. I believe as he ages, he will become an elite defender because of his lateral quickness and anticipation skills. If he continues to enhance his abilities on both ends of the court, this young man will be really fun to watch in the near future.     Keagan is a really good player who has a chance to be elite as he continues to grow and age. Great scorer who can handle the ball and blow by defenders for easy conversions at the rim. He showed the ability of being a great shooter from both mid and long range, knocking down multiple threes in the game I witnessed. Good rebounding guard who didn't mind going inside the paint against bigger players. Plays the game with a high level of fearlessness, often scoring through contact and converting three point plays. Keagan also showed the skills of being a great defender. He forced numerous turnovers of the opposition which lead to easy baskets for himself or teammates. A tireless player who can run the floor and finish in transition when the situation arises.     Josiah has the skills to shoot mid range shots and take smaller defenders in the painted area. He showed the ability to run the floor and finish on the break. Had no problem knocking down three pointers when the opportunity presented itself. Good ball handler who can drive past defenders for easy baskets. A really great defender who plays excellent on ball defense and forces opposing guards into turnovers. Josiah is a really good all around player who does whatever he needs to help his team win. He will make a flawless transition into high school basketball next season.     Noel is a high energy player who has the ability to create off the dribble for himself or teammates. He is a good shooter from the floor, often making floaters, mid-range jumpers and slashing to the basket. A very athletic player who stayed in constant attack mode whenever he was on the floor. Really good transition player who scored a lot of baskets off opposing turnovers. Excellent defender who has the athleticism to block shots and play a high level style of defense, often making life miserable for opposing guards. I witnessed Noel steal the ball three times off playing passing lanes and tough man on man defense. In my opinion, all he needs to do is work on his three point shooting. Once he develops that skill, the sky's the limit for this young man. He already has the athleticism, slashing ability and elite level defense. If the long range shooting happens.. watch out!     Jeremiah is an excellent point guard who is great in one on one situations. He has great ball handling ability, often dribbling through multiple players and making things happen for himself or others. The prototypical floor general who lead his team in assists and play making over the weekend. Great at driving around defenders and dishing off assists to teammates for easy baskets. He had no problem scoring from mid-range with jumpers and floaters, that were very effective. Jeremiah is a good defender who stayed velcroed to opposing guards, while not giving up any air space. He is a tough little guard who plays with a lot of heart. A very fundamentally sound player who makes all necessary plays to win. I can definitely see him doing well at the high school level.     Kayden showed the ability to score in a variety of ways inside the paint. Most of the points he scored were on hustle plays such as put backs and layups. He was great at running the floor and finishing in transition situations. Excellent at attacking the glass and grabbing rebounds at both ends of the court. Great defender who can block shots and make scoring in the paint very difficult for opposing players. Kayden's biggest strength was the sheer hustle he showed to be part of every play on the court. Diving for loose balls, forcing turnovers and just being a nuisance on defense. If he can improve his offensive skills to match with his already elite defense... He could be a serious problem for opposing players at the high school level.
