Ament solidified himself as a top five player in the country with his dominant performance that had many coaches saying he could be a one and done with his continued development. He opened the event with a bang, going for an eye popping 41 points, 27 rebounds and 6 blocks in a win over DeMatha, and finished the event averaging 28.3 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. He was very aggressive hitting the glass on both ends, he showed his ability to handle and put pressure on the defense in transition, he attacked the rim hard and got to the line and he made an array of tough shots from all over the court.

Chance Perkins | 6'2” SG | Highland School 2025

Perkins stepped into a big matchup against Combine where they were targeting Ament, and he came out with a bang scoring 20 points in the first half on 8-for-10 shooting and showed no fear matching up with one of the best guards in the country. Perkins made a name for himself with coaches throughout the weekend, showing his shot making ability and how he can score it in bunches when he gets it going. He made shots from deep, showed his ability to create space and his improved ability to get to the rim and finish.

Jacob Ross | 6'7” SF | Highland School 2025

Ross played in his first event with Highland after playing the last two years at LuHi on the EYSL Circuit, and his addition gives them a big boost on the wing with his two way playmaking ability. Ross is an elite athlete at his size and showed that with some very impressive finishes above the rim, as well as some key defensive plays both on the ball and with his ability to jump passing lanes and challenge shots coming help side. He was excellent getting to the rim on DHO's and when putting it on the deck, he handled it in transition and made plays for others and he was very good as a rebounder and finisher as well.

Womack really boosted his stock this weekend after being behind six high major players the last two years, and now he's the senior leader who showed he's one of the best hybrid forwards in the DMV. He was an absolute monster in the paint using his size to clear out space and finish at the rim, rebounding at a high clip and he showed his versatility as a mismatch with his perimeter ball skills and shot making ability as well. He averaged 19.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game on 58.3%/40%/65.5% shooting splits.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242498' first='Kobe' last='Davis'] | 6'2” SG | Flint Hill 2025

Davis is one of the more underrated players in the DMV who also stars on the football field for Flint Hill, and he made a big statement this weekend in his only game he played, a win over Good Counsel. The 6'2” shooting guard showed he can score the ball in so many different ways playing both on and off the ball, making shots from all three levels and getting to the rim and the free throw line at will. He scored 26 points going 8-for-9 from the field, 2-for-3 from deep and 8-for-13 from the line while grabbing 5 rebounds as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242418' first='Jack' last='Lloyd'] | 6'5” C | Flint Hill 2025

Lloyd is the other senior leader for this Flint Hill group, and his mismatch ability at the five spot was on full display in their win over Good Counsel. Lloyd is a true inside-out presence who has great size to clear out space and good touch in the paint with both hands, he can step out and knock down shots, he's a good screener and he understands his game and plays to it. He finished the event averaging 16 points, including 19 points in their win over Good Counsel.
