<p>PH NorCal was at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA, June 1-2 for the Nor Cal High School Summer Classic. June is the month when players play with their high school team. This event had 24 participants. These are the day 1 standouts who caught our attention with their play on the court.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1530339' first='Xan' last='Meyer-Plettner'] 6'8 2025 Forward Oakland Tech<br>He's adding to his overall package. He'll get things done inside when called to do so, scoring, rebounding and defending his position. We're seeing more action during stretches of the game where he's working away from the basket. Some handling in transition, pushing or walking it up. He's looking to put up open shots from the 3pt, line and mid-range. He's finding movers, and cutters.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1983547' first='Chad' last='Johnson'] 6'4 2025 Guard/Wing, Sheldon<br>All indications are Johnsons ready for a breakout Summer. The 6'4 slinky ball handler put points on the board using a variety moves. Slick handles, change of direction, some quickness along with long strides, and balance to get where he wanted to go. He handled contact, used a few floaters, went up high off two to drop it in the rim. He knocked down open 3's. His length helps him defend, and rebound. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2048161' first='Rashawn' last='Inglemon'] 6'0 2025 Guard, Monterey Trail<br>He's a rising guard from Sacramento. His quality handles, quick twitch movements, vision for passing, and ability to make shots from different areas of the court makes him a double threat when the ball is in his hands. He's a willing passer looking to create, keeping defenders off balance, putting his mates in position to score high percentage points. He's knocking down 3's and mid-range jumpers at a good rate. He's shown he can run the offense in a half-court sets when called to do so. He's a riser.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703083' first='Isaiah' last='Davis'] 6'5 Shooting Guard, Lincoln, Stockton<br>Zeke looks like he's finding a rhythm as a shooting guard. He's taking and making good shots from behind the 3pt line in the flow of the offense, he's running to the corners, and finding spots along the perimeter. He's using his dribble drive to attack, pass or finish in the paint. He's driving the baseline dropping short corner jumpers. He's moving to spots for the mid-range.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2089525' first='JJ' last='Barton'] 6'2 2026 Guard/Wing, Bellarmine College Prep<br>Barton seems most focused on doing good things on the defensive side of the ball, while he continues to polish up his offensive skill set. He stays in good position to help off ball. He has the foot speed and strength to keep drivers out of the paint. He has the body along with strength to defend in the paint and battle for rebounds. He's an excellent screener and passer, he runs the court. With improved handles, he's starting to attack from the perimeter.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1574796' first='Damien' last='Rease'] 6'1 2025 Guard, Weston Ranch<br>The hard playing guard doesn't mind sacrificing his body on both ends of the court, he drew multiple charges, fought through screens and challenged drivers all the way. He seems a bit longer and stronger with an improved all around offensive game. He drove hard to the rim taking hits and getting up. He had good shot selection, with good passing around the perimeter, and in transition. He hit a couple of 3's and mid-range shots.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2415940' first='Ke'Mari' last='Rowe Simms'] 6'6 2026 Forward, Antioch<br>He's big strong and moving better than the last time we saw him. He has an improving game around the basket. He's a double double guy if he wants to be at the high school level. He'll put points on the board getting rebounds for put backs, using his size and strength to turn and power up on top of the rim or using the back board with bodies hanging on him. He's a good passer working from high post and the short corners. He's a triple threat from the free throw line.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1402706' first='Todd' last='Tatom Jr'] 6'0 2025 Guard, Ygnacio Valley<br>He's a do it all guard that contributes on both side of the ball. He's a good on ball defender running to stay on handlers, and making scorers work for buckets out on the perimeter. He can settle things up top facilitating, with quality handles, strength to attack, vision and good passing up in transition, and around the perimeter. He can get a bucket, finish in the paint with paint jumpers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703103' first='Mohamed' last='Kamara'] 6'5 2026 Forward/Wing, Destiny Christian<br>We're noticing the change in his game from post to perimeter. He's doing things away from the basket, though still going inside powering up for rebounds, going after blocks, and paint points. He's put in a good amount of working on his perimeter game, we're seeing improved ball handling with more attempts to drives to the basket. He's showing good form on the mid-range out past the 3pt line. He's a good defender from perimeter to paint. He's a court runner both ways, and finishes above the rim.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1806730' first='Jalan' last='Cody'] 5'11 2026 Guard, Ygnacio Valley<br>Cody is working a bit under the radar. He's a tough minded competitor with a stout body, good handles, and knows how to get a bucket using his body. He can get hot putting up 3's spotting up along the perimeter, and coming down in transition. </p>
