[player_tooltip player_id='1572690' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] - 2025 - Wing - Minnesota Lightning King - Thompson made quite the impression this weekend playing with Minnesota Lightning King. The six-foot-seven-inch Thompson from Alexandria who recently was placed at the top of the 2025 class in Minnesota showed why he's deserving as he was in a class of his own all weekend. Thompson finished multiple And-1 chances with defenders hanging on his arms, and showed off an evolving pull-up 3-point shot. He's a very proficient spot-up shooter so adding to his game is very positive for him overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574216' first='Azayah' last='Washington'] - 2025 - Guard - Minnesota Lightning King - The six-foot-three-inch Washington playing with 17U champs the Minnesota Lightning King put on an extraordinary performance for the weekend. The St. Cloud Apollo guard one game he made seven of eight attempts in a half. Many defenders were no match for Washington's shot making abilities as defenders were cautious defending as Washington would dribble passed. I've known of Washington's scoring chops, seeing it up close is quite an experience. The part that Washington seems to be growing is as a playmaker as he made quick decisions, and right passes over and over.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579917' first='Keller' last='Hanson'] - 2025 - Guard - Minnesota Comets Elite - The six-foot-five-inch Hanson is vying to be the top shooter in the 2025 class. The Sauk-Rapids guard shoots a very high percentage on spotted up shots. The growing part of his game is off the dribble, as he's playing with the ball in his hands more and more for the Storm. Versus Hoop City Hanson put up a 21-point first half hitting four triples and made a tough driving-and-1 bucket late in the half.

His scoring ability locks defenders' eyes on to him, and he catches them sleepy with heat seeking passes that seem to only find his teammates. For much of the game versus the Minnesota Comets Allen they really seemed to check Olmstead's scoring until double OT game on the line he nailed a huge step back 3 for the victory.

Kwatamah Silikpoh - 2027 - Guard - Adidas [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 3SSB - Silikpoh is five-foot-ten-inch from Champlin Park and plays like a foreign sports car. Quick and fast but seems to be always under control on the court. Silikpoh will grab a rebound and be down court before half the defenders have turned around. He's a very adept finisher at the basket as well.

Strong enough player to get inside versus wings and some forwards and athletic and agile enough to punish smaller players. Shoots it well enough and is a very solid playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2527108' first='Jaxson' last='Austin'] - 2027 - Guard - Minnesota Comets - Austin is a five-foot-ten-inch Albany guard who shot it very well in a game I saw him versus JVT 15u Shoe. Spread out in their spread floor attack Austin knocked down four 3s with a very smooth and efficient shot.
