2025 Rankings Update: Top Newcomers

With every update, there are new players that enter the rankings and this update is no different. Here are the top newcomers in the 2025 rankings update.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2263788' first='Daniel' last='Marcellinus'], 6'11 C Roselle Catholic</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marcellinus is the top newcomer in the rankings update and is one of the top post prospects in the class. The 6'11 post uses his strong frame to get position down low and is unafraid of drawing contact in the paint. Marcellinus has a good touch around the basket and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He is a force on the boards at both ends of the floor and uses his size to influence shots around the rim. The 6'4 guard explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact around the basket. Carson uses his handle to beat his defender off the bounce and has a nice touch in the mid-range. He pushes the ball well in transition and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Ousmane uses his body to get position in the paint and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and works hard on the defensive end. Scerbo plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He is a strong rebounder and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. He is an underrated rebounder and gets deflections on the defensive end.
