This is an impressive positional group in New England, especially at the top. However, outside of just the quallity of talent is the impressive depth of this group of prospects. In fact, prospects ranked all the way to the late teens are attracting the attention of scholarship level schools this spring.

Let's jump in and take a look at a few of the Point Guards that stand out in our latest rankings update.

THE TOP 3

[player_tooltip player_id='2317310' first='Keyshuan' last='Tillery'] claims the #1 rank in our latest update on the heels of a terrific spring with the City Rocks in the EYBL. The lead guard has garnered some national attention for his play this season and has really improved his stock as a result. He's an impressive athlete that makes good decisions with the basketball and most importantly, does a lot to impact winning. He'll look to continue his strong play this summer and should have his pick of high major schools to choose from come the fall.

Coming off a great season with Cushing Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='1532434' first='Ebuka' last='Okorie'] has been fantastic running the show for BABC this fall and subsequently, checks in at #2 in our Point Guard rankings. Playing alongside Joson Sanon in the backcourt this spring, Okorie has proven to be a high level floor general. He makes great reads with the ball in his hands, doesn't turn it over, and has become a knock down shooter from behind the arc. He continues to be one of New England's biggest stock risers over the past 12 months.

Fresh off a NEPSAC AAA championship, [player_tooltip player_id='2325729' first='Darius' last='Lopes'] holds down the #3 spot in our latest update. The lead guard has turned heads while playing for RI Elite this spring as he does a great job of controlling tempo and making plays for others. He has great positional size, plus length, and is an above the rim athlete. Right now, he might impress most on the defensive end where his physical tools really stand out. He's one to keep an eye on this summer as his offer list is sure to grow.

3 TO WATCH

[player_tooltip player_id='2114072' first='Xavier' last='Hazard'], our #11th ranked Point Guard, has done nothing but win this spring while running the show for the Middlesex Magic on the HGSL circuit. A high academic prospect, Hazard has a college ready build, can attack the defense off the bounce with either hand, and is a tough rim finisher. One of the most impressive developments for him this spring is his shot making ability; he does his work early and is always shot ready on the catch. He's another stock rise and should be on every high academic D3's radar by the end of the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325774' first='Trey' last='Rezendes'] has been a staple in the back-court for RI Elite this spring and comes in at #15 in our updated rankings. A crafty ball-handler with a quick first step, Rezendes is the epitome of a floor general. He does a terrific job of delivering the ball on time and on target and has another gear in transition. He's slippery in tight spaces, has a quick first step, and is a confident shooter. He's another prospect that should have wide-ranging recruitment come the fall and could play his way into scholarship consideration.

After taking full advantage of his first year at Pomfret, [player_tooltip player_id='2325870' first='Yusuf' last='Dakane'] makes his into rankings at #17. The Maine native is a lightning quick lead guard than is a blur with the ball in transition and will pick up at 94' to defend the ball. He rebounds way bigger than his size and has turned himself into a reliable shooter from behind the arc. He's, pound for pound, as tough of a lead guard as there is in New England and should be a priority recruit for many of the top Division III programs in the region.
