Attacking downhill, he made great choices and always kept the defense on its toes. [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] also is an excellent mid range shooter. He finds the smallest openings and lets the ball fly. Once he is able to shoot into a rhythm, [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] is almost unstoppable. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2334404' first='Tre' last='Watkins'] -- SG -- Basketball Paradise</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An acrobatic scorer and finisher at the rim, Watkins was able to create some of the weekend's best highlights. The shooting guard is just so gifted as a play finisher. When offense breaks down and something needs to happen, Watkins almost always steps up. He lacks no confidence, is skilled from all three levels, and always picks the right spots to be aggressive. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Drew Kempel -- PG -- North Dakota Phenom</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kempel's game is multifaceted and very impressive. With a sturdy 6-foot-4 frame, Kempel uses his size to get where he wants to. Once at his spots, Kempel is a lethal shooter who can get hot in an instant. One thing I love about the PG's game is his fluidity. Kempel wastes no movement or motion. Everything that he does on the court has its purpose. Kempel played at a very high level all weekend for North Dakota Phenom. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552444' first='Carter' last='Newsome'] -- PG -- [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When Newsome had the rock, good things happened for [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite']. The point guard passes with great IQ, scores with pure skill, and runs his team's offense with terrific poise. Newsome always seems to make the right basketball play. Regardless of what the situation calls for, Newsome has the capability to answer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1289073' first='Keegan' last='Van Kauwenberg'] -- SG -- [program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Van Kauwenberg has already proven himself to be one of the best prospects in Wisconsin. But I think he has even taken his game to another level this spring. The comfort that the shooting guard operates with on the offensive end is rare to see. Van Kauwenberg consistently finds ways to get to his spots and score. He has always been very dangerous as a spot up shooter, but the rest of his offensive game is quickly coming along. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Carter Webb -- SG -- Tennessee Edge</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Already a proven commodity in the state of Tennessee, Webb took his talents to Illinois this past weekend and found plenty of success. Holding all of the physical tools necessary to find success, Webb is an incredible athlete in the open floor. As a slasher, the SG is a blur. He gets downhill in a hurry and possesses enough strength and creativity to convert on some really difficult layups. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
