Memorial Day weekend has brought the unofficial start to summer here in the Hoosier state. It also serves as the unofficial demarcation between the spring grassroots season and the beginning of the June scholastic period. As we at Prep Hoops Indiana begin to prepare for the month of June, let's take a look back at the spring and highlight some of the top under-the-radar names in the Class of 2026. These are prospects that college coaches are going to want to bookmark in the upcoming scholastic period, or at least start to become generally familiar with.

Bos is a do-it-all wing from DeMotte Christian that helped lead the Knights to a Sectional championship this season. The long, 6'4" sophomore averaged 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game displaying his versatility on the offensive end. He handles the ball like a guard and has the requisite playmaking skills to imitate offense while also putting constant pressure on the defense as a high percentage catch-and-shoot threat. Bos had a good spring with Region Elite 2026 on the Prep Hoops Circuit and is one to get to know as he continues to develop.

There is a lot of talent coming through New Palestine High School right now and this 5'10" guard is certainly one to keep an eye on. Darrah has put up some huge scoring numbers this spring with All Area Basketball showcasing his gravity as a shooter and ability to attack downhill with the ball in his hands. He recently averaged over 20 points per game at the Prep Hoops Circuit Havoc in the Heartland while still leading his team in assists as well. The Dragons have a lot of talent in the backcourt right now, but Darrah was able to carve out a valuable reserve role as a sophomore for a Sectional championship team.

It has been a great spring for this 6'5" forward from Park Tudor High School. Does has spent time dominating the competition with Progeny 2026 and has more than held his own while playing up some with Progeny 2025. He is very physical around the basket, is consistently effective as an interior scorer, and moves around well for his size. Dokes is a relentless rebounder at both ends of the floor with the necessary motor to play around the basket at his size. There is some real upside to work with as he continues to develop his face-up skill level.

It doesn't take long to be intrigued by this prospect from Bosco Institute due to his sheer size. At 6'9" Harbin is one of the bigger guys in Indiana's Class of 2026 and has gotten himself in considerably better shape over the last year. As he continues to improve his conditioning it will allow him to take more steps forward and the returns will likely be exponential. Harbin has a soft touch around the rim when he gets a catch, is able to play more extended minutes than he could a year ago, and does a great job of rebounding his area and protecting the rim defensively. The total package is still a bit raw, but that is what makes his upside so exciting. He is really starting to come together this spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite'] 2026 and should be evaluated as a name to remember this summer.

Playing alongside a four-star, Top 100 national prospect at Heritage Hills High School has made it hard to gauge just how good of a prospect Prior really is. He is ranked highly, currently #30, in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 rankings but still has flown a bit under-the-radar statewide. Prior was excellent during the second session of the Adidas Gold circuit down in Texas averaging 15.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 2026. The 6'5" guard is extremely versatile showcasing the ability to play either on or off of the ball. Look for him to continue to blossom this summer and then really emerge as a secondary star next to Sisley this upcoming high school season.

One of the breakout stars from the Class of 2026 on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring has been this prospect from Pike High School. Stephans recently led [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 2026 to a Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament title and has been a critical piece of their success throughout the spring. The 6'4" wing has proven himself as one of the more impactful defenders in the class with length and athleticism that you can't teach. He scores it offensively as a mid-range jump shooter, slasher/cutter off of the ball, or attacking closeouts to his right hand. However, defensively is where the two-way upside becomes really exciting. Stephans is poised for a breakout summer going into his junior season.
