As we at Prep Hoops Indiana begin to prepare for the month of June, let's take a look back at the spring and highlight some of the top under-the-radar names in the Class of 2025. These are prospects that college coaches are going to want to follow closely in the upcoming scholastic period.

Versatility allows comes to mind right away when watching this prospect out of Switzerland County High School play. Craig had a massive junior season averaging 25.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game for the Pacers while leading them to a Sectional championship. Playing with Kentuckiana Hoops - Sprigg this spring, the 6'4" forward has displayed his versatile against some good competition. He can handle the ball and pass like a guard, stretch the floor as a catch-and-shoot threat, or score around the basket with good size and strength. Definitely one that scholarship schools and high-level DIII's should be recruiting hard this summer.

One of the more intriguing post players on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring, Davis has really started to capture the attention of some midwestern small college coaches this spring. Playing with the [program_tooltip program_id='2400041' first='Kyle' last='Guy Elite'] Black, the 6'6" forward/center has proven himself as a two-way threat around the basket. Davis plays with an excellent motor which establishes his floor, but then his ceiling becomes evident with his bounciness, good hands, and ability to play above the rim at both ends. The Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School product is still flying a bit under-the-radar, but is poised to breakout in June and July. College coaches should get on him now.

A consistent top performer for Legacy Ice Elite throughout the spring, Edwards has played his way into his first offer from Saint Mary-of-the Woods. The 6'5" wing should continue to be highly sought after at the small college level. Edwards averaged 12.9 points per game while connecting on 45 three-point shots during the high school season at Whiteland High School before really starting to breakout this spring. He has excellent size on the perimeter, can really shoot it from three-point range, and uses his combination of size, strength, and skill to attack closeouts and finish around the basketball. Really intriguing prospect that could transition well to the next level.

There are several strong college prospects at Portage High School in the Class of 2025, but Evans has emerged as one to really watch this spring. The 6'0" guard is a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands and is capable of scoring it in bunches. He was the second leading scorer for the Indians as a junior averaging 11.8 points per game and has gone on to have a really good spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite']. His shot-making and shot-creation abilities have stood out through the spring and make him an intriguing small college prospect for coaches to get to know heading into the summer. Evans definitely remains under-the-radar, but that should change in the coming months.

Kelly has really started to breakout this spring for the [program_tooltip program_id='2305499' first='Hoosier' last='State Prospects'] after coming on strong throughout his junior season at Bishop Luers. The 6'6" forward has developed into a legitimate pick-and-pop threat becoming much more consistent from beyond the arc and that has taken his game to a new level. Always an explosive athlete with length and the capability of playing well above the rim, Kelly now pairs those physical traits with some intriguing offensive skill. If he can continue to make catch-and-shoot three-point shots at a high percentage into the summer he should really start to see his recruitment take off.

After serving as a key role player for the 29-1 Fishers Tigers who won the Class 4A state championship, McCartney has started to breakout as a prospect this spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana']. The athletic wing has good size on the perimeter at 6'3" with some strength and athleticism to match. He shoots the ball at a high percentage from beyond the arc and is an all-around efficient offensive player. McCartney will bring it on the defensive end of the floor too making him an intriguing two-way prospect for small college programs. Look for him to be one of the most highly sought after small college prospects in Indiana's Class of 2025.
