14U – Warwick to secure the championship.
We’ll first look at the first team all-tournament team. When putting together this all-tournament team, prospects on teams that were successful in winning games and advancing are given first look.
Cooper was easily the tournament MVP with his two-way ability. He scored in bunches and was given the task of defending the opponent’s best player. A lockdown defender with a high IQ. I thought his three-point shooting was eye-popping as well, and made him for an extremely tough matchup.
Highlights
Landon is a dynamic point guard that was a scoring machine for 204 Elite out of Canada. He had three games of 20+ points. Could get to the hoop easily, shoot the three, and a weapon in transition. Elite quickness.
Highlights
You can’t teach size, and Dieleman has a lot of it as a 6’7” 2028 prospect. A true post prospect that rebounded well and showed a nice shooting touch in the paint.
Felberg is a long wing at 6’6” that can absolutely stroke the three-ball and he did so at Stomping Grounds. Every three he takes is on target. Rarely has a bad miss. A solid rebounder as well. Thought he made good decisions as a passer.
Highlights
Knudsen was the hardest working post prospect in the entire tournament. A relentless motor and runs the floor extremely hard. A strong post defender and efficient finisher around the hoop. Plays with a lot of toughness.
Highlights
Romeo had a terrific championship game performance and nearly willed his team to a championship if it weren’t for a last second three from Team Warwick . He was finishing with athleticism and was making defensive plays. Possibly the best overall athlete at the tournament.
