He has great size standing at 6'6u0022 and has shown the ability to score from all three levels. Carter took this event over by using his skill and athleticism to attack the rim relentlessly as well as clean up his teammate's misses with tip-ins. He does a great job of maintaining his balance on drives in order to absorb contact and over-power defenders. In transition, Carter could not be stopped all weekend. He pushed the pace well and was able to make good reads whether that was attacking himself or finding open teammates with better looks. Leading team i4 Swish to a victory in the championship game over [program_tooltip program_id='2076067' first='Team' last='Trae Young'] Bates 2028, the combination of Carter's size, skill and mentality was too much for opponents to overcome.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2402867"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":2444661,"_player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2402867' first='Teshon' last='Medlock'] had a great showing this weekend by controlling [program_tooltip program_id='2075773' first='Oklahoma' last='Wolfpack']'s tempo. He is a lightning-quick guard with a tight handle. There were not many opposing players who were able to stay in front of him consistently. I was very impressed this weekend with his body-control and how well he was able to make mid-air adjustments to finish either through contact or around defenders. He is an extremely crafty guard who makes good reads to ensure his team gets the best looks possible. Throughout the weekend, Teshon also applied pressure to ball-handlers that many were not able to counter. He came away with several tough steals and proceeded to push the ball in transition which resulted in a number of fast break points.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2431703"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":2444673,"_player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2431703' first='Brayden' last='Ball'] stood out this weekend as one of, if not the, top guards in the 13u division. Brayden is a very aggressive player on both sides of the ball and created havoc all weekend long by picking up opponents full court and creating turnovers. He has extremely quick feet and seemed to take all of the correct chances on defense. Offensively, Brayden has great shooting mechanics and was able to knock down a number of three-point jumpers. Brayden also displayed a great feel for the game by dishing out a number of impressive assists by driving the ball and either dumping it to his big men or kicking it out to open shooters.Whenever his team needed a bucket, he also showcased great touch on runners and floaters to get his team two points when needed.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":[2381835],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":2444684,"_player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2381834' first='TJ' last='Newton'] had a terrific second day of this tournament by showcasing his stellar three-point shooting. Nearly the entire time that TJ was on offense, you could hear the opposing coach calling out u0022Shooter!u0022 to his defender. He did not need much room at all to get shots off and was able to knock them down in a variety of ways. The most impressive part of his shot was the consistency. Whether it was catch-and-shoot looks or taking pull-ups off the dribble, the form never changed and this bodes well for him as a player still improving. Outside of his shooting, TJ also is a very physical player and was able to win positioning while covering bigs on the interior. The physicality showed up on offense as well, as he had a number of tough finishes through contact which resulted in multiple and-one opportunities.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":2444707,"_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='2554643' first='Slade' last='Black']","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2028","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"6'5u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Crossing Christian","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2076067' first='Team' last='Trae Young'] Bates","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2554643' first='Slade' last='Black'] had a very impressive weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2076067' first='Team' last='Trae Young'] Bates as he showcased elite scoring ability as well as great athleticism. Throughout the weekend, Slade was dangerous from behind the three-point line and was able to knock down catch-and-shoot jumpers very consistently. He used his athleticism to cut through defenses and finished well around the rim by elevating above defenders. On the defensive side, he did a great job of trapping opponents and forcing tough passes that his teammates were able to steal. Slade also moved well off-ball and did a great job of getting his feet set to either take the shot or attack close-outs for easier looks on the interior.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["2408613"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_player_featured_image":2444711,"_player_evaluations_5_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Sermaji Davis is an extremely shifty guard who was able to slide through defenders consistently. Helping lead Mavs Elite 2028 to the 13u championship, Sermaji caught eyes this weekend by playing great full-court defense and forcing turnovers. His ability to push in transition and score through contact was a very impressive aspect of his game. When driving towards opponents under the rim, Sermaji did a great job of elevating off of two feet and this helped him absorb contact against larger opponents. He has a tight handle and this combined with his quickness made him a very tough player to stay in front of for nearly all of the defenders tasked with covering him.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["2437536"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_player_featured_image":2444724,"_player_evaluations_6_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2437536' first='Devion' last='Gillispie'] was one of the top-performing lead guards at this event and stole the show for the majority of the games that he played. He is a strong guard who attacked rebounds to push the pace quickly. Devion also communicated well with his team on defense and helped ensure that their defense was fully set. He used floaters when defenders failed to meet him in the lane and was able to dump the ball to his bigs if help defenders left. Devion's shooting form is clean and knocked down multiple threes off of catch-and-shoot looks. His basketball IQ was on full display as he slowed the pace when needed and made sure that all of his teammates were on the same page. Devion was a clear leader and ended the weekend as runner-up to i4 Swish in the 14u championship game.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664bdddb755a5"} /-->
