Some tough all around competition this weekend at Mayhem In The Plex. I wouldn't want it any other way, from circuit teams looking for extra run to independents hungry to make a name this weekend had it all. Here's a look at my 17u first team from the weekend. Note, if your roster wasn't submitted I may have missed a couple players. Also these selection are strictly based on performances from this weekend.

6'3 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2418786' first='Lamaree' last='Agnew'] was a man amongst boys this weekend at the circuit for Puma's Team Impact. Long combo guard with a nice wing span. One of my favorite parts about his game is how effective he is on and off the ball offensively. High IQ to slip in gaps for easy looks at the basket when off ball and absolutely tough downhill off the dribble scoring with a variety of finishes hanging in the air. He's efficient shooting the 3 ball as well. Defensively he guarded multiple positions and I noticed over a span of 2 games his opponents begin to stop attacking when he's guarding them. He also talked some noise which was entertaining at the least, his aggressive & fast pace style of play makes him an elite prospect in a loaded 2025 class coming out of Texas next year.

5'10 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2420309' first='Gavin' last='Manning'] with P3 Elite is a small guard that understand his size and speed advantage on the court and takes full advantage. He was exactly what you'd look for in a point guard on both sides of the ball. Offensive he displayed some tough finishes over bigger defenders using a quick first step. Nice midrange pull ups and distributes the ball efficiently. Defensively his pressure on the perimeter is elite forcing turnovers and traveling violations all weekend. Overall effort guy and should be high up on your watchlist for the rest of the summer.

6'3 2024 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2385986' first='Dilan' last='Lewis'] was a easy pick for first team. Everything about him just says “Hooper” and he was for sure the most athletic guard I seen all weekend. D-Wade type of bounce to his step, he finishes strong at the rim even through contact. He can also knock down the 3 ball when needed. His motor was next level, impacting the game on both sides from start to finish and he has something about his game that you just can't teach.

6'5 [player_tooltip player_id='2428188' first='Chase' last='Hill'] was someone I regretted not getting film this weekend for Arnold Elite. He was on fire every time I looked over knocking down 3 after 3 and overall may have been the best shooter at the event. Although his shot is what caught my attention he did much more than that. Played in post on defense and averaged a couple blocks a game. He also provides some extra rebounding and overall is just a tough prospect everyone should have on their radar for a impressive Arnold Elite roster.

6'5 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2403333' first='Nnachebe' last='Uwakwe'] was one of my favorites from the weekend absolutely taking over at times making sure everyone knew he was the best player on the court. College ready frame, his upper body strength going to the basket is a problem problem. He uses his athleticism to get to the rim and can finish big. He also knocked down a couple open triples which is a huge plus. Defensively he ass rebounding and super versatile being able to guard multiple positions and blocks shots at the rim. Radar him now, thank me later.

6'7 2025 Jameal Reynolds was impressive this weekend impact wise. Starting with his defensive presence, he altered everything that came his way, averaged a couple block and overall is super mobile for a 6'7 prospect. He plays with energy every play down the court and offensively is a walking mismatch for most teams. He was active on the boards, double digit rebounds and helped his squad get multiple 2nd chance opportunities. Jameal is 100% underrated and he should make some this summer heading into his senior year.

https://www.instagram.com/p/C6pYehhurx5/?igsh=MTgyanowZXkzZzdjcg==
